Hahndorf 11 A, not sure about the B but would be 16+

Hahndorf are a prime example of what i'm talking about. They've got Matthew Jaensch at the crows and did have Cooper, Bishop and Kaesler return from the SANFL ranks after being brought through Hahndorfs junior system.

Lobethal a fair few years ago now had the 2 x Kings and Sziller come back. Onkas have Klun and Shee.

Any clubs got some new talent that could be doing the same in the next few years?

Barker have 13 in the A's and 14 in the B's that have played juniors for the club going by tomorrow's teams. There is also 5-6 players down town that could possibly come back any time.

Interesting to see both Birdwood and Lobethal won their B grade games... would one suggest some stacking is going on!!!

Thanks DA, we're your biggest fan too. Our B grade boys decided kicking points was better than kicking goals today, they have themselves to blame. Birdwood did not stack their B grade.

No Stacking from Loby either, just continued on form from last weeks draw which they should've won. A key injury before half time in the A's otherwise they may have just won as well.

Birdwood simply too good in B's -didn't stack. Had a few back into their A's. IB had a few out but were not good enough - simple. The IB A grade on the other hand in the first half were very very good. 15 goals up at the half. Good on Birdwood for getting another 7 points towards not going down in the chase for relegation. IB happy to help them stay. The last 7 rounds will be great footy. Not the 2-3 horse race a lot of experts think. Lofty and IB right up there no doubt at all. Should be a gr8 game between them after the break.

Loby had 13 in each A and B grade sides against Bridgy last week. Looking at fridays paper and SANFL teams they had 10 players named that were Junior players at Lobethal. 4 leagure, 2 reserves and 4 U18s. Pity they developed their junior players to aspire for the highest level, they could really do with them at the club right now.

Ironbank played badly however going by the budget there were several from Birdwood a's list playing b's and vice versa.
It would be foolish to say that you didnt play some (a handful) midway or fringe a graders down in b's though.

Also can anyone clarify that when Birdwood cleared the space that is now their oval why they didnt see it fit to finish the job?

Surely this is a joke? So it's not the flatest deck in the competition but it would be in the top 2 or 3 ovals in the comp in terms of how it holds up in the wet and at least it is a full oval.

in regards to the game, worst half we've played all year, gonna really have to lift our game if we want to stay up in Central. Important couple of weeks for us...

Onkas, Lobey, Uraidla all considerably better than the hill that is Birdwood.

Though if it makes you feel any better it might be in the best next two or three grounds next year..... in country div.

I hope you're not from Ironbank, because if you are, I'll just disregard any comments you make about anyone else's oval.

And as far as your comment about playing A's players in the B's, the team we had on paper in the A's is one of the better sides that we've been able to put together this year..........it's just a pity they didn't play like that in the first half. So come back and comment when you've got a clue.

Surely not! Hahndorf, uraidla, onkas, lobethal all comfortably better in any weather! Also think BCC wasnt talking about how well it deals with water, more the fact its an aussie rules equivalent of this...Image
