Going on my observations

URAIDLA $1.60
BLACKWOOD $2.10
MT. LOFTY $2.80
MT.BARKER $3.50 (UNLESS HEINDRICH UMPIRES THEN 6/1 ON AS HE IS THEIR 23RD PLAYER)
ONKAS AND IRONBANK $15
HAHNDORF $20
BRIDGEY AND BIRDWOOD $75

$3.2 Blackwood
$31 Mt Lofty
$41 Ironbank
$51 Onkas, Hahndorf
$301 Bridgewater, Birdwood
$501 Lobethal

i would think this is pretty close but i would have mt ronnie @ $1.80 uris @ $3.5 and blackwood @ $4.50 outside that the rest would be around the mark i would think .

I know Ironbank are where we expect to be after the start to the season that we had and the big challenges are before us in the second round of the season to move forwards and start converting scoring shots in to wins on the scoreboard and see where that takes us wether that is into the five we will wait and see [-o<

oh no owen might be offended and have another whinge in the final siren next game. owen does loves his roos we all know that.

one thing i have noticed of late is i think mt lofty might be a sleeper in this final series. i think the winner will come from the top 4. maybe lofty without the double chance are no chance but i think they could cause some havock. barker still a shoe in i would think. beat the woods by 7 goal in the gf IMO

Hey V man, PM me and I'll happily give you my bank details for you to deposit the $1k.

Interesting to read how you are going to splash some cash around , assumedly to buy more players , are you aware that there is a June 30 deadline for clearances and a points system operating in the HFL??????????

From my perspective Uraidla are the best side we have played, followed closely by Blackwood then Lofty and Mt Barker.

If we can possibly get anywhere near a full side out on the ground we may cause these four some concern, but have been a long way off over the past month.

From what i've seen to the half way point it is really between the top 3 as they stand.

Mt Barker are a class act and deservedly the favourites for 2010. They will probably dish out some more hidings to some of the lower teams before the years out. They've been winning by big margins at home and away; on recent form i wouldnt bet against them. Saying that you don't win premierships in June

Blackwood are a quality team but without Gigney up forward will they be able to match it?
Time will tell

Uraidla are still suffering injuries and if we can overcome it then prehaps we can continue in the fashion of the last few weeks.

As for the rest of the comp, Lofty aren't quite where they need to be if they are gonna be serious contenders, but you never know with some hard work on the track and a bit of luck, prehaps they could give it a go.

And the rest ... Onkas and Hahndorf have been dissapointing. Ironbank are busy stacking the B grade to avoid relegation. Despite what Vaughan has to say Bridgey are still a joke. Birdwood i still maintain dont play a bad brand of footy, they just dont have the cattle and Lobethal have some serious work to do.

how can u say that the thunder boys are stacking there b grade ? the fact is that the a grade are now nearly full strength and there are still a few (5 or 6) to come back in be it a or b grade . The only thing i can think your refering to is the fact there are a lot of guys playing C GRADE because we have a c grade . go figure . Not going to go in to detail to satisfy your sledge but deal with it :D :D

Seriously mate, if you are going to post garbage, why bother? Ironbank have won the last 3 rounds in A, B & C grade. How is that stacking a side? Pointless posting comments if you have no idea. Birdwood and Loby are the two teams fighting against relegation and based on Loby's antics from Saturdays clash they have lost a possible supporter of their 11 team comp for next year.

Sorry for the late tackle, been a metre or two behind the play of late. This topic is very funny, as are the entertaining comments here in response. I wonder if Mr Lamshed has heard the one about people in glasshouses????

Yes Owen, we do stick to the site rules, so I won't mention the mini-leaguer who is a very regular visitor and contributor here. But I am allowed to say he's a very close friend of Oliver Dumphrey, Russell Knowall, Penny of Prospect Hill and Monica of Milang, all of whom seem now deceased so I can't be accused of defaming them. These peculiar people spent an extraordinary amount of time writing letters to editors in budgets targeting strange issues, putting down hard-working people, commenting on the taste of various hamburgers at grounds, or pushing barrows which the rest of us found perplexing, irrelevant and at times downright offensive.

Owen, just as the Final Siren is your forum, so is this one ours. If you can't deal with it, don't go here. To avoid this stress, cover your eyes. Block this site. Bar yourself. Join a self-help group. Do whatever it takes so you aren't contaminated by experiences from others which you clearly don't need or want.

And by the way Owen, in response to your Siren article, I have cheerfully spent literally thousands of hours contributing to country football, as have hundreds who contribute here. And thanks for drawing attention to this forum. It's an informative site and we don't have to pay at the gate to get in.

Hahndorf and Onkas look middle of the road and how those clubs take the next step will be important, in the short term let alone for longer, stay there, improve or fall away. I think the incentive to fall away is ppretty much there, ask Birdwood and Lobethal. By the way what were Loby's antics at Ironbank??
