According to the talk in the Caltowie pub, Butch Smith is the new coach of Jamestown-Peterborough. Where has he been coaching in the last few years?

Can anyone confirm the Point allocation for all SGL teams for 2012

Centrals - 10
Ports - 11
South - 12
West - 13
Sollies - 14
Lions - 15

Does anyone have an idea of which clubs/players have carry over points from 2011 that will reduce 2012 allocations?

It is more like 6 points with a couple players with -1 points (Schmidt and Robinson 3 points each). The rumors going around south will be strong with at least 6 players played in the A's this year fighting for a spot next year, with some playing in the B's.

You are probably right Brad - "7 Imports will make them very strong next year."
But they'd wanna be good imports. If four of them are 3 points that's 12.

We will lose some players for sure but other clubs too. I agree with it being intresting now because of these points they got now.I know some will leave but might not get a A grade game at the new club because the points will be used on the guns

I dont think Rooster or Nicko will leave

How do you determine how many points a player is?

Games played?

as I understand it, it is all about where you played. If you played colts and A's at Sollies and went to Jamestown you would be three points off the Jamestown-Peterborough allocation. Two points in the second year and one in the third year. If you come back to Sollies at any time you are point free.
IMO it is stupid and slows down the standard development of the game.
