The yetti got to Know Doylie when he took Jeremy down to South 12 years ago.
The yetti, Doylie, Jaquesy, Natale and a few other dads got on really well and i always look forward to catching up with him when McLaren play Yank. Had a few too many with him a couple of weeks back
Not real sure about his eyesight when it comes to Cricket umpiring and not too sure if he was that good as a goal umpire but at least he did it.
PS The yetti had to come home, warm up and change clothes after getting soaked this morning at McLaren

Things going to plan for Compass. Something like a 15 goal to 10 win for Willunga over Creek and 103 to 60 win for compass over yank would get them in.

I went for a look at the Creek v Victor game. I figured something was up when I arrived with the Victor B's winning comfortably. Story was Creek had players missing to attend a wedding - 5 changes from last weeks A grade line-up. Victor also had 4 changes but the ins were T Brown, White Boyd and Ryan. The game badly affected by wind - Creek had first use but only managed 4 pts and Victor slotted 3-1. Creeks kicked scored 3 straight majors into the wind in the second quarter to keep pace with Victor who were wasteful kicking 4-5. In the third Roe and Johnson* really lifted for the Creeks as they piled on 4 to Victors 2 to leave the 3/4 time score at LC 8-5 to VH 8-9. As the rain arrived early in the last the wind dropped marginally setiing up a for a tight last term. However, Roe and Johnson dropped out of the game, and Victor ran away easy winners. Final score 13-13 to 8-9.

Creeks will beat Willunga next week to settle the issue.

After watching Willunga on Saturday and the Creeks 3 weeks ago, I would think you could well be right JJ.
Whilst still a very good side I think Willunga are looking a little vulnerable. McLaren matched them in most areas on Saturday.
A bit windy but there was no rain and the ball stayed dry all afternoon.

Both sides had a few out, so no excuses there. Willunga a bit more polished going forward was the real difference.

Yes ol chesty Victor look good at the right time of year. Can't wait for the finals to get under way, looks like it will be one of the most exciting and open finals series we've had for a number of years now. Strathalbyn would have to be favourites, but the top 5 are all very good sides and anything could happen!
Went to watch McLaren and Willunga on Saturday, even tho McLaren won't make the finals and the weather was cold and wet, didn't seem to be many Willunga supporters there for a game that is just down the road. Looked like a full house for the same game at Willunga earlier in the season.

Top 6 sides I would say. Dont think its done and dusted just yet. You would think Compass would not quite be at the level of Yank but stranger things have happened especially considering it is at Compass

Hey LF, just heard that Simon Dennis won't be returning to coach the Magpies next year. Off to another team?
