1st chance to get on here.
Taking out the saga of the draw/extra time, well done to GFFL who proved once again that they really are the no. 1 Mortlock team. Good sides win the tight ones as they did against PL on Sat and EE on Mon.
Including the saga of the draw/extra time - what a fiasco and the league has so much egg on it's face. Whether it be going against the constitution OR inadvertantly changing the constitution last meeting and abiding by that, whatever, they stuffed up, and cost MW or EE a shield and all of EP knows it.

There were plently of highlights and obviously some low lights. What about Pedler in the last 10 minutes on Monday - he really stood up. There were a lot of excellent loooong goals kicked from Clothier, K Miller, Burgoyne, Read etc. I thought there was a lot of excellent tough quick footy played over the weekend and I for one enjoyed the spectacles. Thought EE's job on Monday deserved merit.

The low lights are obviously the fiasco, Matt Parker's injury and it was not good for the comp to have FW get thumped by such a margin.

Thought PL had their chances to win both games on Sat but stuffed up at crucial stages late in each game with skill errors. They were very competitive though and if they field a similar quality side next year, will go close.

how bad is Parkers injury? Major blow to EU if overly serious, even if it isn't its still terrible for them. They aren't having a good run with injuries this year. :(

Unfortunately a simple break of the ankle would've been a good case scenario, however it looks like parks has ripped the tendons from the bone and will fly to Adelaide during week for scans and if confirmed will under-go surgery. Unless the scans reveal something different it will be a season ending injury.

It was a ripper mark that he broke his ankle in. Umpire paid a free against him.

The EP side was in the paper today. What does everyone think? Who was lucky or unlucky?

I dont know that much about football but why when the scores were level did the port lincoln defender tap the ball over the goal line in the final seconds against the maroon side leaving them 1 point in front. I thought that would have been a hot topic but it has not rated a mention on here?

Had 27 at training last night with a fair few legit. excuses. Conditions were atrocious at Ravendale, but training was very good given the conditions and pretty upbeat. Lochie's 25 meter belly slide through the goals was one highlight.

Give me $3.50 Bostons and I'll have $100 AG. Can I also throw the roosters into an all-up. PM me to discuss the bet.
