Willunga vs Yank 5pts Hams will kick 9, Dundovic 8

LOL. Maybe a freak hurricane will sweep through before half time and result in a draw?? Happened last year at Pt Noarlunga, so maybe if you cross all your fingers n toes, you never know eh!!

Forgive me if I don't make too much sense here, I am a 92 year old gent and have just got my first lap-top thingy and thought I would give it a bit of a pop.
Now, I am not sure if anyone can help me, but there used to be a tall bloke with light brown hair playing
for Willunga with a name like Iron or Aluminium or something who had a stint down at the South Adelaide Panthers.
Went to a game a couple of weeks ago between Willunga and Compass and couldn't see him out there,
He used to tear games apart a couple of years ago, maybe he was old.
There seems to be a few elderly blokes still on the park at Willunga so thought he would still be there.
Was a shame, If the guys on the gate hadn't left early I would've asked for my money back,
coz that guy was worth the price of admission.
My dear wife Marjorie thought he was a bit of a spunk too and she knows quality when she sees it.
She was also quite taken with a short nuggety fellow in the reserves by the name of Ifolt or something,
and would be keen to come along one week if these 2 boys were still around.

Love your work on the BL&G site Stewie. Best you stay there rather than posting dribble here...although I was slightly amused.
Perhaps you should go and watch Langhorne Creek and watch the Follett's play....they would be close to your age.

RCQ we've been training pretty hard for the past 5-6 weeks, but no its not because of our poor form. Every year theres a period where Baz informs us to 'bring the runners' so theres always a fair bit of workload leading into finals.

Dees up by about 6 goals in the end against the tigers... First qu and a half the tigers played their 'rolling zone' type play and the dees were just chopping it up, big Matty "Funky Love Dog" Thomas just dominant!! It wasn't until they went to a more conventional man on man type strategy that they played well, consequently fighting their way back into the game till about half way through the last qu when the dees kicked 4 quick ones to blow the margin out. Good to see a good game tho.

Certainly not a BIG upset that Compass won, although the margin is.
Only a matter of time for Compass to take a few big scalps. Very hard to beat on their own cow paddock in wet & windy conditions. Consigns the Creeks to an Elim Final.

Creeks havent been at full strength all year but wouldn't have thought their team was much different from the last few weeks.
Heard the Creeks copped a few injuries that hampered them some what with rotations.

It's getting close to finals creek over the last few years seem to find excuses and get hit with injuries etc when september is near. Having feast available only for a few games a year surely is unsettling to the makeup of the team, having said this im not sure whether he played today?

Played and copped an injury early in the game i believe.
The Fact is that the Creeks have been Decimated by injuries several times over the last 5 - 6 seasons. Havent used it as an excuse, it's just a contributing factor to the lack of ultimate success.
Having said that, there were NO excuses a few years ago when they went through undefeated only to be knocked off by Willunga in the GF. All credit to them.

Isn't hodge from victor meant to be a gun....seems like he is bit of a front runner to me,someone correct me if I'm wrong but most times I've seen his name in Sunday mail for best players is against all the lowly ranked teams.
