You heard wrong Bluesy...
Selectors actually had extras and 7-8 lads were unlucky to miss out on 25 man squad.

I didn't hear that Steigs... I was at training at 6 and all the blokes were there.. News to me but enlighten me, what names did you hear. I know Harry Miller & Derick Wangas were late inclusions.
Am I on the right track???

That would be the strongest PL side for many a year. Now all they have to do is gel and maybe perhaps !!!

It is the strongest team we have had for 17 years. If we dont win it heads will roll. Harry Millers home adress is now 17 Hamilton Ave Port Lincoln .

Its actually BC steiger.

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

Is BS - Ben Sampson??
I don't really know the bloke but he supposedly trained Tuesday night and was pretty much in the 25 and then didn't roll up last night.. Maybe Willo & TK were trying to ring him.. Other then that you have me F&*kd!

Brighton 62.21 (393) def Southern Hawks 1.2 (8)

on a different note would this be some kind of record for a div 1 A grade game? I dont even think that Bostons would have been beaten by that much?
BTB, CU got any records to match?

Forecast for the weekend:

IDS1006302
FORECAST FOR PORT LINCOLN
Friday : Cloudy with a few light showers. Cool to mild with moderate to
fresh southeast winds.
Max 18

HEADLINE : A few light showers.
UV Alert : Nil , UV Index predicted to reach 2 [Low]

Following three days for Port Lincoln
Saturday : Min 10 Max 18 Morning drizzle.
Sunday : Min 9 Max 17 Evening shower.
Monday : Min 11 Max 16 Light rain periods.

Conditions will favor the squad. scoob, I think the beauty of the squad is the flexibility. The format needs constant interchange to ensure the guys get thru the weekend. Guys like Ross, Jericho, Semmler, JCS, Honner, Watho, Meyers, Ky etc give you flexibility in key areas and you have heaps of runners to rotate. My prediction is a good contest, but PL to be too quick for GF...3-4 goals and running away.... 8)

Conversation before the Mortlock Shield

Are you going to have a good win at the mortlock. What’s your side.
C’mon mate stop being a nosey parker.
Well what you been doing.
I did some shopping and bought some Levi jeans but I had to hunt for them. Hopeless in Lincoln with no Myers.
I might stay home inside cos it’s too cold and warm myself up with some Campbell soup and steak and kidney pie. At least inside I could use my wanga and get on her.
The whole team was talking about her and we laid some betts that you miss out.
What about Watho, he wouldn’t miss out, he’s hung like Brett Lee.
Did you like your cruise on the murray with jerry and co.
Yeah but got the Mrs to cook a bbq and the chops were all char man.

Thats about as bad as it gets steiger.

So PL finally think they are going to win a mortlock. the side may good but we have all heard this before. I am far from convinced that we can beat GFFL, and am not getting sucked in to beleiving we can win. Blow your horns all you like but until noon on saturday I aint pumping up any tyres.

I agree we have the team to win it. some of the games should be played under lights at ravendale to show the venue off.
