my top three: Trigger (lofty)
king (lobe)
Marcus Anderson (uris)

b's: sodomka (ironbank)
o'callaghan (barker)
paul scamoni (lofty)- bit of a dark horse only played 5-6 games put would have gone close to best for all of them.

If Lofty wore dresses in black and pink they could play as Crafers Netball Club. If you go into the Crafers Inn you couldn't tell either of them apart. Actually, the blokes are probably a bit less masculine!

Wouldn't be suprised if there was a lot of back sack and crack waxing happening in the change rooms at Beautician's Park.

Any umps who want to spill the beans early for us on the MM? Need a hot tip and I will be straight down the Mt. Barker TAB!

Would love to know the odds on Trigga blowing more than 10 kisses per game to the men in white (or orange, or whatever colour they are these days).

Nah - I'm too fat and slow to keep up with the play. Too many dodgy calls.

Custard arm when throwing the ball in too!

Custard-Arm Advocate gets more touches running the boundary than he does when he plays!

No Sodomka. Steve Harding from Ironbank. He's their young ruckman. only 19 or 20. Played some quality games and then played 5 or so games in the a's also. Only polled 11 votes.

A's central count to come......

Congrats must go out to Trigger & Klun. Must be a huge relief for trig, going in as a hot favourite. Dont know much about Klun, but by all reports also a gun player and bloke. How many votes did the pair poll and who else was around the mark??
Thats a very low count in the b-grade, 11 votes winning it eh?? must have been a heap of blokes around the mark, proves it really is a lottery. Well done to the young thunder ruckman all the same.

If that's true, a tie....hmm, can't get tighter than that.
So much for those that thought Lofty boys would take votes off each other, 2 outta the top 3.
King must've come in third?

Firstly, congratulations to trigger and klun. Both very much deserved. Evidently young woody came in third after leading throughout most of the count.

In the B grade the ineligble Rob O'Gorman came in second.

I can't believe we all forgot about Kluny in our predictions. Awesome player, certainly the top dog, and the one to stop against Onkas.

Well done to both Trigga and Klun, and to Ironbank's ruckman. Saw him play on Sunday, and he has a big future.

Most importantly though....who won the coveted Golden Whistle?!!!!

Well done to the MM winners. All those hours spent talking to the umpires after the games certainly worked for Trigger. I hope Klunny picks up his game as well this weekend as he definitely didn't pick up any votes last game against Uri's, that's for sure. Glad that Scott "Midget" Wood didn't pick up the medal either as I think he got away with playing a few Junior Colts games and ended up polling a few votes there as well! They would have needed a few phone books for him to reach the microphone! But seriously congrats.

Advocate, you didn't even get an invite mate, how were you ever going to pick up the coveted Golden Whistle award? That crippled kid from Bridgy with no arms throws the ball in better than you do!

Alos, did Pagey try to get away with a leather suit at the Old Mill?
