Will be intersting to see if there coach does suit up to assist in the ruck department. From all reports was a very usefull tap ruckman at Willaston.

How old is he now? Surely he would be way past it.

I can't see Matt Harris back for Barossa, He is to old and his body would break down, He just got through the 07 season.

I don't think you could say that about Matt Harris, He does have 2 GF medals in the past 3 years.

He must of had some ability to be Willaston's number 1 Ruckman the year they made the GF against Angaston. The temptation must be there if they dont have any other options to give his midfield first use of the pill.

Anyone hear any scores today ?

waikerie beat kapunda by 14pts after being up by 50 points early on.
willaston beat south gawler, nothing has changed at south another 5th or 6th finish for them

i think pac man is showing his knowledge or lack of it of the comp if he thinks nelson had any sort of ability. pretty sure he couldnt make that side that year, i think troy bennie was the ruckman, nelson couldnt impact in that star studded side

This year will be good test for Nelson. From what I can see he has done a good job of getting rid of any good players from the Barossa line up. We will see if he can get a half good team into the finals. I don't think he will get the boots on. He can't even see his feet with the gut he has.

Angaston had a good hit out at Loxton Nth yesterday with only a squad of around 30 saw many play 6 quarters. Ango may have won by a couple of goals in the end.

Correct me if i am wrong but i believe Troy Bennie was played in defence and Nelson was the ruckman of choice in Willastons stellar year which self distructed Grand Final week.

dayso check your scrap book and get back to us on that one..... actually no need , we all know i am right. Now back in your box spastic !

One result from this week is that Tanunda played Brighton and beat them by a couple of goals. Pretty good effort for a country side to beat a Div 1 side, B grade got flogged. Tanunda where basically at full strength with only M Underwood missing. Week before they beat Loxton easily over 6 quarters.

it will be a good test to see if nelson can keep his job by the end of the season, once their list is gutted what will become of barossa? will they try and lure occonnor back?

nah your wrong pac nelson was a b grader in 2003 may have played a few a grade games, there is no way he would of made that side, bennie and johncock did the ruck work on the day the fish got off the hook.

mate tells me wfc easily accounted for south in a trial yesterday reckons if there had been anything to play for the score board would have been a blow out.

a few board members might wanna review their predictions and make a few adjustments. The word is south is spending up big time for a tilt at finals this year and it may just end up being pissed all over the bar

your not right moron, which seems to be a very common occurence with you. hinderwell full back deuter chb and as PH said bennie and johncock the ruckman.
you are making yourself look very foolish, i wouldnt comment on stuff u know absolutely nothing about, maybe u should worry about your own club and see if you can shake that choking tag come preliminary finals time

Don't mean to down grade the result, but Brighton comes from the Southern FL, they arn't a Div 1 side. (not down grading Brighton either)
