I think his clearance was denied wasn't it. HS unfortunately Schreibs was flown to an Adelaide hospital i'm pretty sure, so this meeting with Leo will have to wait.

CU your trolling really has sunk to new depths...you should at least try and sound like you know whats going on.

As good as Pigga has been for us, even he would admit he certainly didnt dominate at any stage on saturday.
Turbo did a brilliant job on Brooks and is one of the most honest performers going round in the ressies. Can play at both ends of the ground and is one of our first picked every week.
As for Minya I thought he was really good and got a lot of important touches, especially by handball to get us started. No one has the motor to go with Minya for 4 qtrs in this league and as such he will never be tagged out of a game for the full 4 qtrs.

surely the PLFL and the SANFL wouldnt be too happy with CU revealing MM votes on this site, surely the league should be having words with CU about his abuse of position with the league

I am sure that someone in the PLFL is fitter and has a bigger motor than Matthew Goodwin. Your fist comment contradicts your second

CU stated that Minya was completely beaten and was hardly sighted all day...Im saying that no one has the stamina to keep Minya down for a whole game, and that was the case on saturday, he was very much a solid contributor.

Stieger sorry to hear about your lads injury, lets hope it heals well for him and he is back playing for leo's u/19's ( he is the coach isn't he  ). On another note you might be able to help with stiegs i saw a little of the junior footy at cent. on satdy and i noticed that the runner for waybacks u15's seems to spend a lot of time on the ground, now i know that he has to give players messages from the coach but he was standing around telling players get in the hole, drop back, pick him up etc, etc. Now i haven't played for a few years but back then that was classed as coaching and the umps would send them off the ground, has the rule changed, the umps got slacker or was he just short of breath and was struggling to get off the ground. Any clarification on this would help.

bluestheboy you know very well you had an input into not allowing whopper to play. Marble Range were very dissapointed on the day and so was the young lad you dissalowed to play. I have only heard the marble range side of the story as I was at work on saturdsay morning. whats your side of the story?
Goodwin was well beaten on the day by Hargans and this was only my opinion, Im sorry if you all thought he was BOG and can run a marathon in 2 hours.

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

Hargans tagged Kelsh mostly in the first half and had 4 goals kicked on him.
If you really are tied up with the PLFL you would know the whopper story. Decision that he could not play was made by the PLFL just prior to the ressies starting at 1 pm.

Must say it was a bit of a reality check coming back from the honeymoon, although I can't remember too much about the first half.

Thought it perhaps good to let you all know how Glen is going however first of all I just want to say thanks to the huge amount of people who have either dropped around home or work or phoned enquiring how the lad is including members of other clubs, and this is still going on. Glen is pretty chuffed by all the attention and contact made. The respect he has for those would have grown immeasurably.
After X-rays on Saturday arvo confirmed both tibia and fibula were broken just above left ankle, arrangements were made for the flying doctor to take him to RAH and he left Port Lincoln about 9pm. Got him out of there lunchtime Sunday and into the Ashford and he had the op about 9.30 Sunday night. Wasn't in much pain up til then which was good.
The op was successful and 4 screws were inserted (another pinger at the airport) one of which is to help repair the torn membrane between the 2 bones. That one has to come out in 3 months and he's not allowed to walk for at least that long without crutches. So another little op then.
His employer is great about it all and will help him out with sit down duties at work when he is able to return as he won't be able to do his storeman job for some time.
He has been in good spirits about it all and is talking about doing all upper body work to strengthen that part of him while he can't walk and get a heap of work courses done over his recovery period. I am sure there will be a time when it hits him though and he will become a bit despondent about it all.
The big pity is that his year is over and it was a pretty important one for him in trying to establish himself with PAMFC.
He is young and assuming op was successful, should heal quicker than us old farts and hopefully he can get back into training early next year to have another go cos I know how keen he is on his footy. They used to call his brother "EJ" out at Rangers so he must be "EJ 2" cos he just loves it and it is that desire which will help him get back sooner than a lot.
He is flying back to Lincoln Tuesday (tomorrow) to recuperate here for a few weeks but there will be no Sharkys for him. I suppose I could take his place.
