 very good Yetti!

But your right, he will be alot fresher with just the one week off...i dont know many blokes who have played in every state game in the past several years and still had good form going into finals like he has..
Looking forward to another challenge this week though

Baulderstone will be added to the squad for sure. Players have always been picked on reps for the inter league/zone games.
Speaking to a delegate on the weekend & we could be getting back to having a real rep game against the Southern League! Im sure the players will put there hands up for that. They better make it open & not this under 25's crap. This is a real chance of happening, lets hope the delegates of both leagues make it happen. Imagine the Gsfl side....

Dundovic Hams Eagleton
Pratt D.Ellis M.Elliot
Maxfield Hodge Redden
S.Hutchinson Sherwood Haskett
A.McDonald Cheetham Glass

1st - Steele Ewer Portlock

Int - Baulderstone M.Thomas A.Harvey Obushak
S.Elliot S.Alexopulos Iljcesen Howell & about 20 more...

I noticed Dundovic in the team listed above, is he in the squad? Isn't he one of the players Yank fly in from the NT each week to play, presumably he wouldn't play in an association game..

No Ben Moore? Is he injured, overlooked, out of form or would the GSFL side be so good that he would not get a game?

Moore, Feast, L.Ellis, Boyd, L.Ryan, Gaskin & probably another 4-5 Strath & Yank players... The GSFL is a quality comp at the moment. Bring on the GSFL vs SFL

Limb there's alot of quality players running around this year & i haven't seen Yank yet. However (as much as I like taking this piss out of him) it could be the year of the bridesmaid, big Mitch Portlock! Played very well for a number of years & deserves one. From Pongy, Tim Howell or Gasko are the only chances.

Maybe not! I've never played in the GSFL but have a lot of mates who have. The argument has always been that the GSFL is a bit more free flowing and skilful football whereas the SFL is more of a congested style of footy with more emphasis on body contact.

I reckon the SFL would get touched up by the GSFL if we played without age restriction and in perfect conditions on a decent oval. A lot of guys have bailed on the SFL over the years because the competition is simply too weak. Too many rubbish teams and too many wasted weeks during a season!

Cant see you getting smashed with the likes of Beeching, Pollard, McKenzie, Vick, Squire, Bayly's Manhood, Baylis  Golding etc etc running around in the SFL.

I would have thought that there was very little difference between the two leagues. Some very good players and coaches across both.
On a big oval maybe GSFL and a smaller oval SFL
