Congratulations to the Boston 'A' grade who I thought dominated the game and should have won by more. The ex MR connection played well with Woody clearly best for the tigers and Troy and Kayden Hull both playing well as did Troy Smith. Damn !!!. Can't think of many (any ?) Boston boys to come back into that side so the win was important for them to give them some momentum as once they come up against the better sides, who will soon enought get to fullish strength, they will need confidence, momentum and to play well to beat them.

How are we going to beat Waybacks who trumped Tasmans just as I thought.

Classic and true 'B' grade game (low scoring and not a hell of a lot of highlights) with a sore Wade Smith happy to get the 2 points over Troy. Poor old Wade was stuffed before the ball bounced as he ran across the oval to shake Troy's hand before the first bounce. Don't think he recovered from that.

well he did set up and kicked the winning point. was a good hard hit out, we had our chances but didnt convert.
Still have a few A grade players to come back into the side.

I think the league is going to kill the under 17s competition.

How long were you out at Willows for Tiger? You see all the funny stuff?

Good game of Footy friday night. Looks like our hard pre season is coming up trump early with our fitness a telling factor in the win.

CMH, the PLFL are not to blame for your under 17 situation.

Well done to BFC, when was the last time they were successful in a Wangary trip??

They can. That was YOUR clubs call that Franklin and Hull not play no-one elses. We had 2 lads that were Under 17 play both games...it is just the permit players (Under 18) that can't.

great for the competition to see bostons win and become a part of the finals race. we had some poor behaviour at centenary on saturday that we will send a letter out to the offending club.

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

Anderson should be this week and hopefully Bryant. Paech maybe after Mortlock depends on the specialist but looking good and Copley same time but will need match fitness. Also another recruit from Tumby/Pirie didnt get cleared in time but would be set this week.
