Will you be going to the "Family Day" at Bostons today T07?

I think there's a better alternative... A "lock-in" bonding session.

My latest Mail is that we would all benefit from purchasing the Mail tomorrow... ;)

And there's apparently already a tribunal scheduled...

Let's hope that the PLFL doesn't stroke themselves silly and actually do something... 8)

The PLFL must not be dicatated to by anyone and the BFC will face the consequences for their actions today. The hearing is on Tuesday night and they will face a hefty fine and possible loss of premiership points. We have to come down hard or it will be deemed that is acceptable to not turn up if you have an issue. Sorry but that is just the way it is. Live by the sword die by the sword.

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

we have to come down hard, what a ******* joke, of course you bunch of weak ***** would come down hard on BFC now, there's no race issue for you to consider like the Tribunal's decision when handing down Miller and Dudley's penalty.

Sorry but that is just the way it is, thats what we got from you from day one when our concerns were put forward to you that it was above your capabilities to sufficiently deal with the situation and our concerns were proved right. You had many opportunities to resolve the issues brought forward to you but like a pack of emu's you buried your heads in the sand and hoped the threat would go away. You can all hide behind your skirts and say you done a wonderful job and it's not your problem but i assure you if it had of been one of the other four clubs the outcome would have been entirely differant.

i don't agree with today's forfeit, thats not the way to resolve issues but it wouldn't have even come to this if the damn Commissioners firstly all turned up and secondly handed out the penalty suitable for the crime. Atleast now you have set penalties for future suspensions and we can all rest easy knowing that the dirtiest king hit gets you 4 and a wild kick to the head 2, in other words sink the boots in or you will penalised harder for striking.

I have got Tiger08's back on this, except for the part about the forfeit- I think it is the correct course of action.

CU- as for T08's "side of the story", well, I tend to agree with him and the fifty witnesses that said HM king hit BP, rather than the MPFC/Commissioners "side of the story" that it was a "jumper punch" that slipped (I was in the room when the tribunal went on), and that Paechy got kicked in the head, rather than the MPFC/Commissioners, that agreed PD kicked an errant spectator.

Having spoken to people on other leagues, had these two incidents happened elsewhere, neither HM nor PD would be sighted for the remainder of the 2010 season.

If BFC aren't confident they have the support of the PLFL/Commissioners, then they shouldn't play.

FWIW, at least BFC made HM's suspension 5 games...
