Gun midfielder but can play FF, Great hands and body work. Will play forward early til the body settles into contact again i would think. Would be about 31, solid build with a big engine, run all day. Played for North Adelaide, Freeling and with us at Broadview, won a Pfitzner medal with us. Great bloke too, sad to see him leave but should go real well for Ollie at Wilaston.

Barossa got beaten pretty easily from all reports... only kicked 5 goals I think.. Normal for a trial game were missing up to 6 but not sure who.

Perhaps sponge will need to dust off his boots this year and lead his charges in the ruck.. that would be a true cinderella story.

Barossa have not got a game on this weekend.

Also heared that The Barossa coach spent some time with Simon Schwarts talking him out of the move. Things must be very bad down at dog land.
Also was told that Ross Cristie told the club that he will only sign if he rucks & plays up forward.

Barossa Districts are still hoping to lure a few ex players back to the kennel before the season starts. Matt Harris is on the radar.

Will be intersting to see if there coach does suit up to assist in the ruck department. From all reports was a very usefull tap ruckman at Willaston.

lol.. if matt harris is on the radar then all reports are correct things are bad at a the rspca.

nelson still recalls his greatest highlight in football as playing in a losing elimination final and playing a role in willaston going from minor premier one year to a pitiful 4th the next.

its no surprise that christie is telling where he should be played

Lots of ins and outs there at BD, what's the story? Simon Schwartz is a bit of a journey man but leaving for Hummocks when he lives in Lyndoch seems a bit strange!

I think Colin Schwartz is his father, who is also a bit of a career coach and I know Simon has followed him in the past. Is Colin Schwartz involved with HWE.

I know that Colin Schwartz dosen't have much time for the A's coach, He may of got into Simons ear and that has got Simon to move.

I believe that Daniel Thomas also had a few heated words with the A' coach that is way he has moved on. That is a very big loss for the dogs, The people that Thomas know the list would just go on & on.

How old is he now? Surely he would be way past it.
