Yes, he certainly looked a class above B grade. Would you imagine that Mt Lofty would try and get him back for 2011 if they struggle to kick goals this year?

On another note, I played a bit of football in the hills against a “Vaughan” many years ago, who was an arrogant loudmouth on the field. Judging by the posts I have read recently on this forum, it’s good to see that some things never change!

With the association game cancellled, what would people thoughts be on a 'North' vs 'South' Hills inter-association game. The sides would obviously be made of the Northern and Southern areas of the Hills and could look something like this.

North - Uraidla, Onkas, Mt Lofty, Birdwood, Lobethal, Bridgewater, Gummeracha, Kersbrook, Torrens Valley,Sedan-Cambrai

South - Mt Barker, Hahndorf, Blackwood, Ironbank, Nairne, Meadows, Echunga, Macclesfield, Kangarilla, Callington

Reckon that would make for a fairly even game too.

It would be a nothing game of sorts, but so were the association games. Raise some revenue for the league. Someone mentioned it on the Southern forum for the SFL, and it had occured to me in the past. Also be a good chance for the country and central players to get to know each other.

Just a thought.

Depends who the coach is, if there is no change, he would find himself in the Magoos again!

What sort of penalty did the Tosser of a president from Uraidla get for losing his nut when they lost to Blackwood. He also had a go at 15 year old kids. Tell him to get out of our game. we don't need crap like himin our league. Believe he did not even turn up tuesday night to the hearing - arrogant sod mr Parker. Hope your strawberries rot. Unfortunately Uraidla can't afford to lose him if they want to keep their playing group. They're certainly not a social bunch out there now either, first time I can remember no member of a visiting club made it into our club for a drink after the game last saturday. Local boys are good blokes, what there is of them.

Congrats on your memorable day Vaughan. Any side that can manage to kick 5 Goals in an A grade game against Uraidla should be proud. From what im told the umpires gave you a few cheap ones aswell.
Another great win to the Roo's

Anyone got any results? I heard the Mt Barker v Ironbank game was much closer than most would have guessed.
