Might no win many games, but main thing is they always go into the oppositon rooms for a drink - looks like Sambo has taken that ruthless, win at all costs culture he instilled at South to the Mudlarks.

Crawl back under the rock you came from Bunton. It shows your from South, slagging off one of the best players to play for the Blue & White, who also took over coaching South when it was on its knees. No doubt he didnt get many wins at South but he sacrificed the wins for the developement of the local zoned players like Crate, Willams, Perry, Turner, Crabb, Rediglo etc. Fuller will no doubt reap the rewards of this. Unlike a few of you small minded people at South looking for a quick fix, we at pongy know where we are at & are looking to develope a group of young players which doesnt happen after 3 rounds. As for a culture of being happy to have a drink after a game, home or away, its been at our club forever & it wont change. It is country footy! As a club we've always played hard off the ground, we need to get back to playing hard on the ground & giving out a tough contest, win or lose. Thats what our club was known for. As a club, if we continue to follow the instructions of Clay i have no doubt the wins will come.

good luck with all that - believe me, you're going to need it

Yetti's tips for round 6
A good round of footy coming up with winners a bit hard to pick
Strathalbyn in a close one against Mt Compass
Myponga / Sellicks in a real battle against Encounter Bay
Yankalilla only just against Victor Harbor...but they must hold Dale Ellis
Willunga should win against Goolwa / Pt Elliot
McLaren if they can play 4 quarters will just get the points against Langhorne Creek
SO MANY IDIOTS
SO FEW BULLETS

Strath to beat Compass - 32 points
Bays to beat myponga - 50 points
Victor to beat yank - 12 points
Willunga to beat /smash goolwa - 100+ points
Langhorne creek beat / smash mcclaren vale - 100+ points

strath and victor game wil be close but rest will be one sided blow outs.

Round 6 tips:
Encounter Bay over Myponga-Sellicks. If Myponga-Sellicks didn't have so many reported injuries I would be backing them for their first win of the season.
Langhorne Creek too good for McLaren.
Mt Compass will shut Straths' run down on the home slope and come away with the win.
Willunga easily over Goolwa-Pt Elliot.
Yank vs Victor - match of the round? Tough one, Yank to loose two in a row, I think Victor will come away with the win in a bloody good game of Footy.
Hope the sunny weather hangs around for some good hit outs this weekend! :partyman: :-bd

I dont know why mclaren even joined the league no one likes them. There supporters should be tied to the fence or caged! Everybody knows that Encounter Bay are the real eagles! Even my fellow victor team mates agree. Stick to grapes! Our league was better when you werent in it.

Oh boo hoo bloodroo! :(( you are such a sook! GSFL is a great league, with great clubs run by great people, but would be so much better off without losers like you. Feel a bit sorry for ya, you think the blokes at Victor are your mates, na you just play in their footy team. L-)

Do you also hate Myponga, Willunga and Langhorne Creek. These clubs also joined over the years.

OK, you've expressed your opinion on the McLaren Football Club on more than enough occasions. Time to move on now.

Strathalbyn too good in the end - Compass going down by just over 2 goals.

Congratulations to Strath put it together for a 3 or 4 goal spurt in the 3rd quarter and that made the difference in the end.

Good effort again from Compass,
Especially with 3 or 4 missing from last weeks side,
Just not quite there yet.

I love watching this team - they never give up in a contest - and fight hard for the ball all day.

Seriously, how old are you two? Perhaps refrain from the childish taunts and steer the conversation toward football.

Yes dig there was never more than a couple of goals in it all day. The game came down to a bays player taking a mark 25 out dead in front, with the bays 5 points down. The kick was taken after the siren to give them a 1 point win, he missed and we had our first win for many many weeks.

Bit dissapointing to see McLaren ended up going down by so much in the end to Langhorne Creek, looks like they were right in it until 3 quarter time only 3 goals down, then the Hawks piled on 7 goals to McLaren's 2.
