Get over it. The worst performing club in 2010 is heading for Country Division, as it should! Like Amateur League, its not negotiable, you are bottom and the top team in Country Division wants to come up. Forget about it being Gary Hughes team, that has nothing to do with it. For God's sake move on from this topic!

And it's not like Amateur League. The clubs will vote on this. It's not certain a team is going down, tho I hope a club does to prevent a bye.

BALLHOG wrote:Vaughan you are so one eyed is isn't funny, Bridgewater are way out of there league in Central division. For the last 15 years the A grade have been pathetic and the last 4 or 5 years the club in all grades have been a joke. As a past player at the club for 10 long years the club didn't change at all if anything it went backwards. Let's put things in perspective you gave Loby there first A grade win in two and a half years and they certainly aren't a top five side. Onkas may possibly sneek in to the five but will be no threat to the top sides. Birdwood on the weekend will probably take the points aswell, it that's the case where do the club go. Country A grade level is a very good comp apart from Callington and sedan. Yeah the juniors and B grade comp may not be as strong but that should suit a club such as Bridgewater that have been poor in all grades in recent years.

I think you'll find it is certain that Torrens Valley will come up and the club that finishes bottom in Central division WILL come down to Country division. This was brought up at a recent HFL meeting and no clubs wanted to discuss it so for mine its clear cut. It's good to see the HFL have stated it in this weeks final siren and are sticking to what the rules say.

I take that back. Owen spelt it out in today's budget.

Lofty over IB today far too easily. An even 1st qtr was all IB gave today.

I think a bit factor was a few guys were getting a bit ahead of themselves and not actually working hard enough to make the contest. To the Bridgewater guys credit they just worked a heck of alot harder and wanted it more.
i don't think yesterday was a true reflection of where we are at but having said that you're only as good as your last game so we need to really go hard at a hungry Lobe this week.

what was said in the budget af ?? any new blood today in the green and gold mate ??[/quote]

Budget said that the club as a whole that finishes botom will be going down for torrensvalley. a grade wins worth 5 points, b grade wins worth 3 points and all other grades worth 2 points. so a little bit differant to the sheild points. so on that note cant see the raiders going down. so im sure ull all wont be to happy about that. haha unlucky!!!!

haha yeh ok well id be happy to put a bet on that. u wont even beat us by 7 goals let alone 20 this year. And for a team that you talked up winning the flag last year against a team that finished 2nd bottom thats not that good for you boys at hahndorf. but ull proly blame it on having a few missing through injuries.
