Jamahl will notice a big difference in everything going to Gepps Cross - different environment, different culture compared to country clubs and a step up in the depth of quality opposition every week. Good recruit by Gepps - hope Jamahl can adjust, quality player, good bloke...

Pffft. Clearly you never watched the 2006 grand final.
Best player on the ground by a mile at centre half back.

Very much so. Good player in his day. Good hands. Straight kick. Play at both ends.
Deceptively fast, given he's not the quickest bloke.
Be interesting to see how he goes at this level, given he's a little bit older now.

He was 4th best for Loxton in 2004.
Was 4th best for Loxton in 2005 and polled 3 votes in the BOG award.
Had a bad game in 2007.
And he was no orphan in playing poorly for Loxton in 2009.

Apparently he 'never' produced during finals, especially grand finals.
Clearly that statement is wrong.

He didn't play in 2009 did he? Thought he was in Sunraysia? Raph did but don't reckon Jamahl was around.

I reckon you're right there OS.
He did have a stint playing for Mildura South I reckon.

Correct. He never played against Berri when I was there in 08, 09 and 10 (yay).

He did. I watched him play a game there against the Swallows.
Dominated early on, having shots from everywhere. Marked everything coming his way.

Correct - he did not play. We put a lot of time into Raph that year and on the day Loxton didnt give a yelp so he would have had 20 mates. Hot as hell that day too which we thought would have favoured the young Loxton side but lucky for us it was not to be.

Awful, awful day. A hell of a contrast to North's premiership on its home ground in 2011, which were similar conditions to its 1999 win.

I reckon we had all 4 seasons in one day in 2011. Last quarter was played under lights if I recall correctly.

2011 Indy decider was played in 30+ heat.

2010 was a ripper day. Awesome weather, a good ground to watch a GF and the first quarter was some of the most entertaining footy I've seen too.

My favourite was 2008. Great atmosphere at Berri that day, particularly with the Ricciuto factor.

Brilliant day! Travvy Wilson taking his guernsey off and storming back onto the ground! Pearson signalling a goal with the goal umpire when the game was done and dusted! Out of sync cheerleaders doing pre-game entertainment! Classic day!
