Yeah magpies i am all for it, those blokes should be up on the list as 1 and 2, even Lynton Bishop, but Hilly is usually on the selection panel an he isnt a big fan or lynton so he wont get the job. but carls or hilly would be a great option. winger he wont be there next year, they need to spend that $300 into a big tall forward. or even Damian Squire

Im not to sure if he is managing Brad, but he is the coach of the Eastern hills mavericks which is like the SANFL of basketball, he coached them to the flag in 2004, i have been to watch a few games this year to watch brad and hilly is still as strong with his voice as ever, one of the comments he bellowed from the bench was as i remember "UMPIRE YOU GOTTA GET A FEEL FOR THE GAME, IF YOU DONT HAVE IT GET A FEEL FOR IT! YOU JERK OFF! that was a priceless attack at the ref, im sure you have heard him scream at the top of his voice at HFC.

Yes i remember watching and almost falling off my chair when he used to unleash a barrage of abuse towards the umpires or players. Was a great coach always brought the best out of everyone

PS Special K, I dont think you know what you are talking about when you call the Advocate a pretender. He is probably the furthest thing from a pretender at the Mt.Lofty FC. PS I am guessing you would have to be a certainty for this months WhatEver 2Pac award. You have earned it!

Really great to see young Dale Liebelt win the Junior Colts medal for Uraidla ... possibly the club's first medal at that level since ... who knows when. Obviously showing some of the genetic talent of his old man Paul, a great player in the late 70s and 80s and now a respect umpire. Perhaps the chance for Pucka to make it a club double for the Demons in the A-grade count. Why the promotion of Meadows to come up ... they only finished fourth in 2006 and about eighth last year. So maybe that run of the 4 flags has well and truly ended. I believe Kangarilla is the side to come up, but we'll have to wait for a year or so. Noticed former Uri coach Tod Barabas led Athelstone to the minor premiership in A3, I think ... anyone know how the finals are going?

played against dale's father paul. not only a good footballer either on the wing or in the middle but a damn good bloke like most of the boys at uraidla in my time. e.g. carter ,serotzki, hunter, horsenell, furness, and sutty :D

Is that the Horsnell who left the Hills in the early 90's to coach at Murray Bridge club Imperials?

What is up with Onkas? Even Blackwood has managed a finals victory after the previous year's debacle. The $$$ would have to be on Blackwood just with the recent history of the crumbling Bulldogs. Can Onkas toughen up and grab a win? If they don't I think they should just play the regular season and not worry about fronting up in the finals.

GDK, Pucka is easily the best defender in the league, but I think that with Uraidla killing it all year, he probably hasn't had to do a hell of a lot compaired with last season, fair enough he has spent a little time in attack. But I would back Anderson or Loffler to poll really well for the medal this evening. Could be the same case as lofty though, with many players stealing votes from each other. I expect the superstar ledge king to come away with a win followed by buzz stansborough. From there the list goes on. Wood, shee, loffler, trezinski, pucka, burch, contin, anderson, and many more. Close one tonight I am thinking.
How good is footy!

Dark horse for the MM would have to be Chris "Condom" Shee. Onkas haven't done too bad and he stands out with whatever he wears on his head. Other definite chances would have to be Adam "Blowing Kisses to the Umps" Trzesinski and Ledge King. Have to say Paul "Pucka" Richards isn't that much of a chance as Loffler would steal a lot of votes and defenders aren't umpires favs like the midfielders. Stansborough will pick up a few but not enough to get over the line I reckon.

For Athelstone? Their A grade got the minor prem. but lost on the weekend.
Their B grade are in the GF.

C'mon guys!
Anyone here seriously thinks Blackwood can WIN? Or is more of a case that Onkas will LOSE??
Onkas are a lot better side than Blackwood.
As for the MM tonight...bloody hell, hard to pick. How's about we give our top 3??
For mine:
Trezsinksi
Loffler
Matt Stapes (darkie)

Blackwood's chances rest solely on the possibility of Pagey wearing his leather pants again on Sunday. If they get a run no Onkas player will be able to stand up due to excessive laughter and Blackwood will just get over the line. Else Onkas will absolutely smash Blackwood. Don't rule out the possibility of a nil-nil draw either as both teams have a reputation of trying to lose finals.

Where is this game by the way? I am hoping it is at Bridgy as their ground is magnificent. Top class oval with fantastic facilities. Rivals Adelaide Oval and Footy Park as the premier football ground in the state.
