MM is not 'free' to play this week, he is on a short holiday

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

Gotta love blue, never let the facts get in the way of a news story.
His wrap up of Port lincoln footy mentions the 43 point winning margin of MP over B as the largest of the season, which was in actual fact 53. Apparently the next biggest margin was T over B which was 24 points, but I am sure that we beat B by 31 points in R1. But the overall point of the article is correct that we have a relatively close competition, and the facts (correct or incorrect) back that up

The wheel turning to Mortlock Shield at ravendale underlights was the most stupid comment of all from his statements. Can you imagine what it would be like with 2000 spectators out there at night. It was bad enough when we had 500 through the gates when bostons played tasmans earlier (however the gate takings were good). Ask ravendale's ambassador HS what it was like if you need conformation.
Official margin in round 1 was 31 points bluestheboy.
Heading out to ravendale now. I Will post port lincoln side in the morning.

you could get a job as blueys translator bluestheboy

From a demon perspective, congrats to Toby Rawson. Has been in pretty good form across half back this year
