neil reeve may return to victor in a couple months after he done his ankle playing for south last week, and after a lengthy stint on the sidelines, may find it tough to get back in favour for south?

Bring on more rain, it might slow willunga down a bit! Did hear that they picked up a pretty handy recruit, ex SANFL player who quit west adelaide wednesday was signed at willunga 2 hours later.

Playing this week! Signed start of last year so bays10 is not well informed.

How did the bays know of his departure from West Adelaide minutes after the player had spoken to the senior coach of his decision, hmmmm :-k

Great to have the footy back this weekend. Lots of new faces and quality players into the league!

Scott Brown. Provides us with another running, skillful option and strengthens up our midfield.

Looking forward to the test of the Bays at home tomorrow. Theyve been a bit of a bogey side at times over the years, especially down there on the big oval. Having not heard much coming out of the Bays camp theyre a bit of an unknown.

Tips for round 1
Willunga to win in an upset over the Bays. 100-200 points

Strath in a tight one with Mclaren will get over the line. 15-17 points

Myponga to push the Creeks to the limit but go down in the last minutes of the game. 2-7 points

Victor will come out strong, only to be leading at the half by 2 goals then run away with the game in the final quarter over Compass. 35-38 points

Yank in a hard fought tussle against Goolwa will come away with the win. 30-35 points

we had a few talks with West Adelaide BJ.
It will be interesting to see how the points system goes this week, last year cant say there was anywhere as many recruits into the gsfl as this year. I cant see how Yank are going to fit them all under the 15 points that they have? Even your mob BJ you got enough points spare?

Pretty straight forward tipping this week one would think

Willunga - write your own ticket (100+)
Strath - too much experience and talent....is Peglar a chance to return soon? (40-60)
Creeks - lost a few, but gained some quality players...to good for an improving Pongy (20-40)
VH - with that many ins they cant afford to lose. Compass with no Webb and no Burdett (60+)
Yank - too good for the undermaned magpies...i think yank will be the team watched with the most interest (30-50)
You can love football, but it wont always love you back!

Tomorrow we are on the points limit i believe. There will be some issues with a few teams this year and their points allocation, hopefully the rules are clear and its clear what each player it worth.

How are your boys looking bays10?
