So Bostons and Mallee actually met, and allegedly DS said they would change all the rules of PLFL (video taping games, security, etc), if all the clubs wanted it, which they "didn't."

There was the rhetoric from Mallee that not playing the match as scheduled would reflect badly on the community... Which is absolute pulling material! It reflects badly on the rabble that is Mallee Park.
MPFC apparently offered security in a bid to make the match happen. The PLFL Vice President, and resident peacock MH might have passed muster, but Jack Johncock wasn't considered impartial... ;)

BFC asked the PLFL for help, but got the inevitable "it is an issue between Bostons and Mallee Park." Which again, is a load of horse manure. It is most definetly an issue for the PLFL, but the two men at the top don't have the cajones to make the tough decisions.

Step one: New President and Vice President. Regardless of the twaddle that the "clubs are the League," those top two are reasonably important, and, like it or not, they could have made a decision if they wanted to.

Step two: Farewell Mallee Park. It's not a Boston person overreacting from the Footbrawl incident, it's a football person who is over the incessant crap that we all endure from that club.

Don't like it, read my signature.

BoH:

I'm led to believe that the inaction of PLFL and MPFC meant that the definitive action was made by BFC.

PLFL would have been happy to sweep it away...

Lincoln South 1-39
Waybacks are the form side but going for an upset
Tasmans 1-39
Sad to see no game at MP but I admire Bostons for their stand
Their just doing what we all wish we could do !
I see Mallees are mid season recruiting again with "residential permits"
As far as I am concerned this needs to be tightened up.
the Cut off date is the cut off date and if you come in July /Aug
then you cant participate in the finals

A Boston forfeit is a MPFC victory by 30-points... I don't think we need to wory about tipping it... but just in case I suppose...

I cant beleive Bostons are forfeiting - people have short memories. Matt Giddings at Wangary - fractured jaw from an incident way off the ball. Years ago some of the worst displays you would ever see. Just ask anyone about springs Bryant and Co. i cant beleive it - weak.

This is a MPFC and BFC issue marble park, we have made our decisions and moved on and if you can't handle that then that is your problem and your clubs problem.

Ken Whelan mallee park do have some interesting additions via the residency rule come through this week. I would not discount them from winning the premiership.

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

Many are split from last nights decision to forfeit both among players and members. No doubt this is from a lack of support from other clubs and the possibilty of back lash from some clubs and MPFC in the media. It doesn't matter what BFC say it will always come off as us against them, white against black and that's how it will be played out in media.

As BFC have openely stated this is not a Mallee Park thing, then the question has to be asked of them, if the League still comes up empty with BFC demands then will they forfeit each coming match until demands are met?

Whilst this(forfeit) may get the response BFC want(time will tell) I am sure this will intensify the tension between both clubs and may lead to a spitefull match next round or no match at all again.

Its Media Park, CU...

And if anyone thinks this issue is wholly and solely between Bostons and Mallee Park, then you need to pull your collective heads out of your collective rectal areas.

This is a massive statement by the BFC, and it is for the betterment of the footy in this town.

I can ony hope that the "League" continues it's regular inaction over the issues faced in this town, and do not try and penalise the BFC for protecting their players.

The ramifications for not playing at a game you are affiliated with is huge marble park. The fine you will get will be significant over this and if it continues into a second week you may be dismissed from the PLFL

Isn't this going to get blown out of proportion now. Attention will be brought to the issue and the PLFL. We will again look at joining the GFFL in coming years
