Oh dear oh dear Shiney. I have umpired Under 13's as club umpire for last 2 seasons and that rule only applies to Under 11's. That is very ordinary in a final they dont know the rules as I was a bit surprised at the result and maybe those small decisions explain it. Why did it take until 3/4 time to fix it????

It took til 3qtr time due to the umpires sitting on the side lines looking important giving the berri coach & team mamager the wrong explanation. It wasnt until 3 qtr time that all the umpires at the ground realised that an error had been made.
As i said highly confusing for both the Berri & Loxton lads. :?

Noticeably quite a few of the award recipients missing.
I hear a number of steaks were returned, although mine was spot on.
Also the RFL apologised for Andrew Jarman's speech at the Duthie Medal, what are
people's thoughts on that?

Jars was Jars. Swore a bit, made some crude jokes but I wouldn't expect anything less.
The blokes a character and has done the same all his life. Not sure if there were some complaints to the RFL but it was a serious apology.

Can the Pelicans break the drought? Will they finally live up to expectations and take home the prize that has eluded them? Will there be some new father/son premiership combinations?
Will Waikerie prevent a second successive premiership loss?

more importantly berri b's are a massive chance against waikerie. they have a good mix of experience and some good young, quick kids that will test the ageing magpies on the wide expanses of renmark oval. noticed eustice not named for waikerie...

That would be the biggest turnaround in RFL history by any team if the Demons were able to get the bickies. Two games to go, they were bottom of the ladder and now they're in a grand final. Great effort by the lads.
