Spot on Boags.

I think you can also tell that TO7 has never seen a game before.

Pretty sure thatT07 would have known that, it was a trick question. Full marks Boags and Bish.... 8)

cmh...unless you want to pull on the white/orange/green yourself mate, then criticising the umps wont get you far. Not just here either, is a problem in almost all regional comps. Come up with a solution, or keep your comments to yourself.

finaly some sense from bluestheboy. we are short of umpires and i think they are doing a terrific job. scott and todd did a great job on saturday bluestheboy (besides scotts decision on Tessman in the last 5). what did you think?
CMH why rubbish the people that allow you to play each week?

No doubt we got the short end of the stick with the umpiring on friday night. Forrest is very orinary and so is Sturgess.
CU the budget had no league teams in it for the saturdays game and the scores from friday night were wrong in the advetiser and sunday mail.
credit where credit is due, and you deserve none

Haha things haven't changed. Good bloke of the field though. Can turn a game in quick time, saw him kick 4 goals in the last 10 minutes to get his old side over the line. Pretty amazing goals too. Saw Haydyn Mckinlay got a best on ground for tasmans, can play!

Well Killa has made a very good impression in the lincon league then, he did kick a few on the weekend but he used to get the hard ball. Have you guys scared him in your league? Is that Hayden Mckinlay from Goolwa?

That is him, Tasmans have 3 ex Goolwa players, Killa, Mckinlay and Campbell.

I was happy with the umpiring in general. Forrest cost us 3 goals at vital stages where we got the short stick! and same with Sturgess in the b grade. The killer bees get lots of favours from the umpires.
Scoreboard was great on Friday night.

Kilsby, he would be the most hated footballer in the town

Played the game at a high level well into his 40's IIRC.

Very modest, level headed bloke, and believe me, after playing under much of his umpiring, i can undoubtedly say he is not one bit biased.
Been a great contributor to country sport and deserves a bit more respect.

On another note, where are the comments after games you have won, this isn't aimed at Best on Hill either, where you have praised the umpires for a solid game?
It doesn't happen, first to criticise, last to praise.
Why don't you blame your player's skill errors for putting the ball in dispute in the first place, the ball in dispute is where the frees are payed. Whether they're (in your opinion) fair or not.

The critisism the young lad recieved from the U17s game had a bostons supporter removed from the gound by PLFL president. Very poor effort from a club trying to clean itseklf up :(
He was very 'grizzly' about it too.
A report in the reserves grade also was made on a bostons player giving this young umpire a serve. pathetic BFC. we will now have no more kids want to umpire

dude he wasnt removed from the ground and hardly anything was said and it definately wasnt abuse cos i was right there. the official didnt catch up to him till after the game had finished and there were no more games. so get your facts strait first.
also if you knew the guy who was reported fri night then what he said was just his normal vocab and just slipped out.
