Further injury concerns for Renmark on the eve of a game that may determine
whether it plays finals football.
In the Independents, it appears fourth position will go right down to the wire between Cobby and Lyrup.

personally i think that if he had have recieved a red card and not a send off the magpie faithfull would have been satisfied

So burgers cant play coz he is too big!!! Give me a break - you are joking surely. Its a contact sport - if that contact is delierate, intentional, outside the rules, dirty, behind play or whatever - throw the book at him but worrying because he is too big, dont think renmark will lose any sleep over that one. If ur worried about the opposition being too big - retire, golf course is just down the road.

Agree. It's being purely speculative and presumptuous to suggest Burgers will actually hurt a player so badly they never play the sport again.
His missus is more lethal in my opinion.

His size is not the issue - the issue is he's a dirty thug that likes to take cheap shots. The fact he keeps getting away with it means he'll keep doing it, increasing the likelihood of someone being seriously injured.

Good game of footy at Berri on Saturday.

Congrats to RFL for ensuring Jeff Hayes didn't have to far to travel to enjoy the 1992 Berri Premiership Reunion after the game.

Hows the state of Berri oval? 3 knee injurys and a couple of ankles on Saturday, I would think thats pretty concerning considering its hosting a final.

Not concerning at all.

The Berri oval is in better condition then other ovals currently in the Riverland. Injuries occur and to blame the surface is just ridiculous.

Massive game this weekend between Waikerie and Barmera-Monash.
A couple of big outs for Waikerie, will that make a difference?

Here's what the Armchair Experts think:

Top write up yet again SL, going to be a belter of a match at Waikerie, but after seeing the injuries to Bachmann and Sutton those two will be outs I would expect. Barmera to get up by a few goals. Renmark to get up over Loxton and take 4th spot by 8 goal, Berri to knock off North by 3 goals.

Cheers JS.
The club was awaiting scans at Waikerie and they were hopeful Bachmann's injury was only short term, possibly one to two weeks
but it sounds as if Sutton's will be worse than that.
