From what I have seen the little fella must have been looking for Sultanas. He looks in pretty good nick and dropped a couple of short sizes.

Must be all the Gaelic footy he's been playing over the summer. A good game for keeping fit, and more fun than pre-season.

Noticed on the SFL forum that they will be playing a free kick for rushed behinds this year. Seeing umpires move through both GSFL and SFL, the GSFL will probably follow suit.

It will certainly liven things up on the last line of defence....and perhaps amongst supporters.

If that rule had been in place in 2009, every game on GF day could have been a different result. :-k

Premierships were won and lost because of 'rushed' behinds.

Willunga had thier first hit out trial match yesterday against cove at Morphett Vale High School. Game was fast and physical with both teams having players missing. Besides the oval being hard as rock with alot of dangerous cracks everywhere, im sure spectators from both the demons and the cobras will agree the game was a well played and fair contest.

New players to the club looked promising with still more to come into the side in coming weeks. Mitch Portlock and Brad Haskett found alot of the footy while little Vick for the cobras did the same going the other way.

Always good to try players and new tactics in these games and the ones that got a chance really stood up, looks promising in 2010 for the demons. Thanks again to Cove for a great hit out

I think Willunga was a few goals up at the end but Cove dominated the first and last quarters. Willunga controlled the middle two.
