Perhaps after Mortlock when things have settled down and most of these players have played a couple we might just get a better picture of the strength or otherwise of each club and their chances.
Just to give us a bit of an idea we could mention those still to come in :
MR - Thommo, Doudle, Dennis, Tiller, C. Brooks, Ackland, Gregory

Yes the Tigers do need to stand up this week but to say we should be targeting anyone is not what we are on about. We are trying to put the 'THUG' tag behind us and be a good clean club. If they want to start throwing elbows around like in the trial game then they can expect some retaliation but we are not going out there and targeting any players. We just want to go out there and win![/quote]
Well why did only 7 people turn up on Sunday?

I can hear TRR now bleating out "I said nothing of the sort...."WhiteTips wrote:I will have $100 on tasmans at $2 and win my money back I owe u AG, because the boston forward line is looking shabby according to the opposition coach from last week

Wasn't a day for tall forwards on Saturday, with the majority of goals coming from midfielders / small forwards. Really think that Bostons ran out of legs in the second half, but up till then gave us plenty to think about. Arbon and Marsh are really likely types, and Mallee had flashes of brilliance. Not entirely sure of the logic of playing Singh, Franklin and Tabe in the 17's under permit for a full game, and then asking them to play Ruck, wing and key position in the seniors. Got them a win in the 17's, but didn't help them later in the day.
