I believe you turned down the option of a trial prior to even commencing training? Officially the offer for a trial is still on the table.

Me personally??? I have absolutely no involvement with organising trial games for Jervois. Plus like I said Jervois seem organised, they don't what till preseason has already begun to organise their trial games they do that well before the start.

Well then maybe in November when you are asked for a contact number at your club instead of saying no you can pass it on so people can get 'organised' before the season starts.

No worries mate :)

You asked on the new coaches thread about the other RMFL coaches.

Matthew Dent is at Tailem - the club was terribly short of players last year, with a few decent recruits this year it will give a better indication of Denty as a coach. From what i hear, hes held in good regard by the club and players.

Damian Cross at Mypolonga - hes coached in the Mallee league before, and did reasonably well from what i can tell. Played at Ramblers the last year or so, and Mypo is his first coaching stint in the RMFL although i think hes applied for other jobs in the past. Will be interesting to see how he goes at the Tigers.

Tony Fielke at Imps - has a great minor round record, but unfortunately for him and his club they have lost 3 or 4 grand finals under his coaching. Unfortunatley for him he may be (unfairly) judged on that alone.

Anthony Weyland at Ramblers - has done a good effort at Ramblers to an extent, moulding some good juniors with quality recruits. Should have at least played in a grand final in last 2 years, and arguably should have won one. I dont know about internal politics at Ramblers, but who knows if they dont make a g/f this year he could be in trouble??

Sam Mahoney at Jervois - done very well as a player at Jervois last few years, but will be wanting to carve out some coaching success of his own now that Tim Richards has moved on from the club. His player "connections" have been invaluable.

Lee Adams at Mannum - did well last year at Mannum, especially early on in the season, and they did well to defeat Mypo in the Elimination final. Hes well respected within the RMFL.

You may know more than me about Jamie Gibbs at Meningie - although i know hes very well respected within the league. Do you know of any player movements at the Bears, topcat??

Thats unfortunate mate. The Bears have a geographical disadvantage, but theres still nearly 3 months away from the start of the season so hopefully they can pick up a few players. They've got some fairly handy youngsters they can work with anyway from what i can tell.

What club are you with No-Mercy??
Come on people, pre season training must've started for all teams by now, surely there are some new faces out at trainings, if they have already signed what's the point of keeping it all a secret???

Currently undecided GWW, but thinking of headin down to the RMFL to play, so just looking at the standard of players there are this year in the league.

P32 why are you looking at the standard? To see if you can get a kick or not?

Yeah well people keep telling me it's div 5 standard, so if that's the case then I might be a chance to play A grade up there instead of B grade in the GSFL.

I reckon its more about how likely you are to win an accolade, weaker comp, stand out and all that.
You'll probably land at Jer$$$vois no doubt, they seem to do well in gaining players from the GSFL and SFL to their credit.

Hills I hate to turn this sour for you but you really are one of the biggest wankers (even bigger than me!) on this forum. You yourself went to the club for money so pull your little head before posting hard luck stories; I'm still laughing my arse of about how you got on here at the start of last season telling all in sundry how good a player you were then mid season getting back on here talking about how your a contributor and thats why your not getting a kick blah blah blah. Best you just concentrate on training the house down, with the new coach having played on your team last year and now at the helm maybe your spot wont be simply granted to you each week as rumoured to have done last year...
