BDT beat Lameroo by 19 pts. Scrapy game but close all day. Peake won the Bs by a couple of goals. Lameroo won the colts easily

Can't believe a bloke that steals a team mates sister can win the best team man award!! Coach must have felt sorry for Dutchy after Timmy and Booth won B&F / R-up awards! Any news on your Downs 17th prediction!

Hmmmm...why would her brother be worried about Dutchy 'stealing' her???? Some weird relationship they have if he stole her... ;)

Mallee Match Preview –8/9/2007

Grand Final at Lameroo

10-45am Senior Colts Border Downs Tintinara v Lameroo

12-25pm Reserves Lameroo v Peake

2-15pm A Grade Murrayville v Border Downs Tintinara

Murrayville v Border Downs Tintinara

There have been 3 teams with very little separating them in Mallee football this year with Lameroo being unfortunate to lose their 2 finals narrowly and bow out of the Premiership race. Murrayville have been top for most of the season and have played some exceptional football. BDT have built steadily towards the final match of the year and have players available at the right time.
Murrayville have match winners in Drew Crane, Damien Fenoughty, Kevin Wyatt and Rian Crane. Their forward set up has variety with Clayton Sporn, Shannan Wyatt & Michael O’Malley all capable of kicking big scores and Justin bailey is always hard to keep out of the game. Brad Wyatt, James Beckmann & Luke Kirkbright do the job in defence with Sam Rowe & Jesse Vass providing running support.
Will Dalwood is a developing ruckmen who gets plenty of possessions, but will need more support from the experienced James Dixon who appeared hampered by injury in the Second Semi Final.
BDT have peaked at the right time and their strength is through the midfield with Josh Richardson, Mark Vandeleur, Lachlan Richardson, Luke Remfry, Greg Nunan, Dustin Head, and Jack Zacker all capable of playing hard finals football. Jarvis Webb has returned to ruck, allowing Matt Schilling to play more at half forward which also releases Nathan Todd to a roaming role in the forward line. Shane Binns is a fast leading, strong marking full forward and Josh Richardson is a goal kicker when resting up forward. Ben Hooper is a rebounding defender who uses his pace to great effect. The role of fellow defenders John Miell, Lee Slape, Michael Brighton, Jed Hicks & Andrew Perry will be vitally important for BDT to contain Murrayville’s strong attack. Ashley Masters suffered a knee injury in the Preliminary Fianl and could be doubtful this week which would be a blow to BDT’s midfield.
These teams both have reason to feel confident going into the Grand Final, but if Murrayville can win their share of the midfield battles they have enough fire power up forward to win the 2007 Premiership.
Murrayville to win an extremely tight match.

Pinnaroo seemingly looking for a new coach. Paul Pitkin understood not to be taking it on next year. Also unlikely to play, needs a knee clean out. Apparently.

Carey18.
Of the 2 I think they would be better off with Mickey. Funny though applications are still open to the 20th of this month aren't they?
Yet it allready seems to be a race in two. It's amazing what shit people dribble when they are pissed. I didn't here what you or Munna's were doing, only the other four.

Ash is a mate of mine, what happened to him?
Thought he had been fairly quiet looking in the results page.
Sure he had an interesting story or two to tell.
