Three leagues and a mention of the RFL B grade is a bloody big effort mate. Keep up the good work.

Very comprehensive preview by the Riverland Weekly and as OS said to cover the 3 leagues and RFL B Grade is well done and obviously requires a large amount of research. All that in a paper that doesn't anything.

Not that I'm Pioneer bashing. Writing that much is a massive haul, plus chatting with coaches etc, would take a fair chunk of time and effort.

Degenhardt said the inclusion of Franks is a bonus.
“It’s a huge recruit, in my opinion, the best recruit the Independents has ever made,” he said.

Big call.

Huge call, morale-boosting call, exaggerated call but I like it.

Not because it's right but the fact he's pumped up the tyres of Franks and the Bombers.

Generates interest and discussion.

Now Franks has to back up that call.

Silly $$$$ for Indy footy. Very silly. But, hey, if you can get it...up to you whether you think it's worth it.

Is is true that S Pitt gave back his match payment on the weekend after kicking one point and getting two handballs?

Or did he put it over the bar at the Berri Footy Club to show his appreciation for all the advice from the Berri faithful during Saturday's game..

He would have only needed to buy three beers over that bar to spend his match payment. Prices there are ridiculous.

Here you go BC. Match of the round between Waikerie and Loxton North will be a big one for both sides.
The Panthers need a win but victory for the Magpies will keep them in touch with Barmera-Monash and Berri.

Blackwell's comments:

“Our average age is the concern.
“Three or four years ago, a list like we’ve got now would be really good but now, a lot of the sides have got so many young ones and lighter bodies, we don’t really match up well.”

Pretty quiet on here.

What's people's thoughts on the ladder at the moment? Likely to change much by the end of the year?

Any Whillas medal smokies emerging?

Player numbers appear to be getting even worse now, will Moorook still be playing indies in 2013?
