W - major losses have been more than covered by some excellent recruits and plenty of them. Definitely stronger than last year. Plethora of small midfielders/forwards (with ability)
MR - 5 or 6 major losses have been offset somewhat by some inclusions but will be weaker than last year. 3 in a row may be just beyond them.
MP - By all reports have recruited strongly and would not surprise to see them at the top, however I have a feeling something will implode within the club this year which will affect their performance. No Jones who despite his age and lack of pace, still set them up time and again last year.
B - Improved from last year but not to the extent of W or MP and I still rate them just behind MR

You seriously think waybacks can win the flag with no full forward or centre half forward?
T - Battle between them and LS as to who will be granted the concessions applicable to the bottom side such as "Untouchables" (and we will find out next week if that still remains a concession. It will be interesting to see if the League adheres to the rules they set themselves)
LS - feeling sorry for them already and I reckon W, MP and B should each give them one quality player. MR can't as they are all "Untouchables"  :) :)

How can he play for TFC when there is a clearance application to WFC at the league office as we speak.

But if your so damn sure RR, I'll have a carton with you that Wade Stephens does not line up this weekend for TFC. Care to back your words ??. If it makes it any easier for you we can drink it together and Ill never let on who you are.

Waybacks going after Stevo is a slap in the face to the league who set the rules but more so the other clubs in Pt Lincoln (Bostons & MR in particular) who did not follow up with him as he was supposed to be untouchable. The one club who does not respect the rules will probably gain his services as the remaining clubs had the respect to follow the leagues guidelines. So much for Roscco being the idealistic coach who wants honesty (as he said in the paper). Shame on the WFC.

BUT>>>>>We denied the clearance and if he wants his job he will be lining up for us.

I think all sides will show improvment this year maybe with the exception of Marble Range. Waybacks seem to be the prime movers at this stage with a fairly substantial number of good recruits and existing players, Bostons should be good and that shock loss to Tassies in the trial might stir them a bit. Mallee Park always seem to improve as the year wears on, but with good numbers early they could suprise i think. Tasmans i'm not too sure about, haven't seen anyone training so don't know what they have got. Souths, will be interesting, no-one is expecting anything so it could be a bit of a suprise maybe? They WILL be a better side than last year. Sam Kidney is back and fit after last years season ending ankle injury, Abel is fit and is a pity he is going after rd3, Pauly Theo and the Nagel boys are also going to be very handy. Dylan Dunn should dominate too

Please ignore the trolls - Wade apparently now works for M&M which have footy links to Bostons not Tasmans and he will certainly not line up for TFC Saturday.

No although for a while last night at Wangary they were looking very strangely at me. In the end not even Edzell got a game so pleasantly surprised with the numbers.

2 very even games to get the year underway- perhaps Bostons & MR to win but could go either way.
Tasmans the only safe bet this weekend. Their players will be playing as if their livelihoods depended on it.

I wouldn't put money on any of the games, especially the Souths-Tasmans game. I would almost tip Mallee's and probably tip Waybacks

Boags is on the ball. The only certain winner this weekend is Tasmans especialy if they want a to get paid for their weeks work.

So we still have not established where Wade is playing yet? I got told he is the answer to the WFC forward problems and will be lining up at CHF for them

I wouldnt say we were 100% certainties but I will say we should have no problem accounting for LS who should be everybodys 'whooping boys' this year. If not Wanderahs have started the hockey season well so this could be my last post.

What ever did happen to that tool called sasquatch? did he get a pay rise to?

We kicked the first six goals and I was making fun of Lincoln South and their lack of heart in big matches enjoying my beer after a big win in the B's, we were all over them and looking like champions. Then what followed was embarrasing for myself and my family at the ground. The team threw in the towell and were as Malcom Blight would say 'pathetic'.
We lost by eight goals. I really want to name players who were weak but that is not my position and I should cool down a bit.
The fitness of the players was evident that it was not up to what is required. The only thing good to come out of the game was the hit Killer put on the cheeky south rover.
I ask the TFC for a public appoligy to myself and fellow supporters who turn up each week. We were promised a top 2 position this season and have walked away with the spoon.
I am officially cutting any ties with the TFC, however I will still be involved in Ravendale through my family involvement in hockey.
Enjoy your trip to the Gold Coast, If I was coach you would be going to Tulka.
Bring back hockey to saturdays so I dont have to go through this pain every week.

Signing Off
