W - major losses have been more than covered by some excellent recruits and plenty of them. Definitely stronger than last year. Plethora of small midfielders/forwards (with ability)
MR - 5 or 6 major losses have been offset somewhat by some inclusions but will be weaker than last year. 3 in a row may be just beyond them.
MP - By all reports have recruited strongly and would not surprise to see them at the top, however I have a feeling something will implode within the club this year which will affect their performance. No Jones who despite his age and lack of pace, still set them up time and again last year.
B - Improved from last year but not to the extent of W or MP and I still rate them just behind MR
You seriously think waybacks can win the flag with no full forward or centre half forward?
T - Battle between them and LS as to who will be granted the concessions applicable to the bottom side such as "Untouchables" (and we will find out next week if that still remains a concession. It will be interesting to see if the League adheres to the rules they set themselves)
LS - feeling sorry for them already and I reckon W, MP and B should each give them one quality player. MR can't as they are all "Untouchables"![]()

I have not been approached to coach at the WFC this year, next year or any year. I have not approached the WFC to coach this year, next year or any year. This is an unconditional statement.

RR obviously a man of his word......ravendale rulz wrote:I stand here and vow this is my final post and I will never watch the Tasman Roosters league side again. I may watch the killer bees as they play tough hard football.
We kicked the first six goals and I was making fun of Lincoln South and their lack of heart in big matches enjoying my beer after a big win in the B's, we were all over them and looking like champions. Then what followed was embarrasing for myself and my family at the ground. The team threw in the towell and were as Malcom Blight would say 'pathetic'.
We lost by eight goals. I really want to name players who were weak but that is not my position and I should cool down a bit.
The fitness of the players was evident that it was not up to what is required. The only thing good to come out of the game was the hit Killer put on the cheeky south rover.
I ask the TFC for a public appoligy to myself and fellow supporters who turn up each week. We were promised a top 2 position this season and have walked away with the spoon.
I am officially cutting any ties with the TFC, however I will still be involved in Ravendale through my family involvement in hockey.
Enjoy your trip to the Gold Coast, If I was coach you would be going to Tulka.
Bring back hockey to saturdays so I dont have to go through this pain every week.
Signing Off
