Cheers comeon... As I understand a club cannot decline a clearance unless the player in question is not financial with the club. Congrats on the recruiting but I won't make any judgements until I see Bridgy knock off some reasonable sides. So many times... so many promises and yet nothing delivered in recent years. I do hope your coaching is much better than your grammer. :)

Or he has a signed contract on the correct CFB paperwork. So if he signed on at Aldinga, he's bound by that contract.
The term "required player" can no longer be used as a reason to hold a player like it used to be.

Looking thru clearances for Bridgewater, noticed the unbelievable - cleared to Blackwood one Lachlan Richter, winner of 2009 senior colts Mail medal, what the hell is going on there???

It was junior colts! Where on the hfl sit did you get this from? Can only get last years clearances atm.

Apologies re: L Richter did win U/15 medal, awesome player, will probably play U16 (and U/18) for Sturt in 2010. Big loss for the Raiders.

As far as finding this info (ie relating to clearances) - if you go to the Country forum on this site they explain the process very well.

I also hear the league has signed on with them again for another 3 years, seems like Owen has done a 'backflip' not only with this but with the CFB also. What does the sports store in Mt Barker think about that I wonder?

That's a very interesting post in light of your username change.
You say a 'few' clubs were not happy. It was 2.
There was no embarrassment from the supplier, he merely explained that these problems had been ironed out. He came accross very well IMO.

At the moment, there is nothing to indicate any movements (in or out) on the clearance page.
We want Vaughn.

Fair point but have not most of their stars gone to seniors?Blackwood have recruited over 6 stars with alot having 2 mopre years.I guess to it will depend on how many games the clubs have there players available with SANFL committments.

With these few words you show how wrong this is. I don't agree with a big club "recruiting stars" to win an U17 premiership. The HFL should be stronger is stopping clubs poaching the best juniors from other, smaller clubs.

I'm afraid it also reflects poorly on the lads involved. I'm sure their original clubs are real happy to see them get seduced by promises of being part of a bigger, "succesful" club. I'm also sure their ex-teammates and coaches are well pleased.

It's well known that some clubs are offering money to top junior players to tranfer - remember boys, if you lay with dogs you'll wake up with fleas.

Poynters moved due to an incident with the coach. They have committed to be back at the roos next season with the senior squad.

Re Blackwood and their "poaching" you are way off the mark, I think you will find they are all boys whom have moved because they live locally.

Are you disputing that they've been approaching top juniors from other clubs with offers of money? I didn't think so.

Heard a rumour down the local yesterday that Milang might be back in season 2010, sounds like they could be filling a C Grade team only. Can anyone confirm or shoot this one down?

Seems like something is happening as the new HFL website lists Milang as a current or active club for this season. Only time will tell for the panthers.
