Recruit of the year SL?
Bloody good start by the Roos.

Told you he would be handy up there even though his brother sam was on the crows rookie list he is a more valuable player to have in your side. He kicked 5 goals in the 3rd qtr for strath in the 2009 gf when we lost by under a goal nearly won it off his own boot that day. Where have the roos got him playing this year? I would have him full fwd and in the middle for bursts.

Check tomorrow's Pioneer for the preliminary Eastern Zone squad for the SA Country Championships.

Edit: Actually it will now be in Tuesday's Pioneer. But grab a copy of tomorrow's anyway for all this weekend's teams.

Has mostly been playing out of a forward pocket I think.
SL would have seen firsthand last week so could probably give you more detail.
His brother Sam has definitely been playing through the midfield.

Marc played full forward/forward pocket against Loxton and was playing out of the square.
He's a smart player and other teams will want to take note not to leave him one out, as he will win.
I think we'll see him at half forward but I know the tactic was for him to play deep to expose Loxton's defence.

Sam is starting to hit peak form and has pretty much been spotted across the ground. Doesn't mind sneaking forward either.

Asked Geordie about it on Friday. Said he wasn't and played for North on Saturday.
But who knows?
Hopefully if he goes it's not this week.

That's funny thought that north only bought him a pair of boots and paid his subs last year ?

Must need new boots clearance pending 17/05/12
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

Not sure where IO is coming from either.

I do agree re: shadow. I give it three days before we see the clearance pending for the shadow.

And five days for him to contrive a story about how Loxton North treated him badly and how Brown's Well is so much better.

And six days for him to learn the Browns' Wells song and sing it all night when he gets hosed next.

All speculation though, really.

I can also guarantee that the LNFC is very disappointed to have lost Geordie and not just from a footy perspective.

Would LNFC also be disappointed to lose the sponsorship from its president? Resigned too?

Will Franks line up for Browns well this weekend? Or can North stop him?

I see Hankin not named at westies, playing for Berri?

How long does it take to get a clearance?

Hankin trained last night and is playing for Berri for the rest of the season I understand.
