The only 2 premierships that were ever bought that I know of were in 02 and 03.

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

whilst I am a little far from the action over here in town. It is well known that two of those in question have short fuses and another two are supposedly good mates (well when I left they did) and also two of them are work mates..... and the other one well I'm not really sure what the connection is. maybe just went to cool the situation???? My contact has not heard anything also.

But the contact did provide that Tim Weatherald is named in the centre for tomorrow's game. So I suggest CU that you get in a car and drive north for 55 mins turn right drive further for 3km, turn right drive 500m to the oval and pay your $6 or whatever it is these days to see for yourself.

Under the laws unless he has a work permit he can not play heater. The points will be taken from Tumby if he does. I heard he was going fishing with Bullet.

I had it on good authority that he was not allowed to play as he did not have a permit. Should he live here fine but if he doesnt he needs a permit, and the permit was not put in. I am sure we will hear more about this situation and Tumby may lose the points.
A couple of permits were recieved for lincoln footballers to play in round 1 of the GFFL. whats everyones thoughts on this happening?
By all reports Tumby were as weak as water and looked totally disinterested. All is not well there. Maybe GG, 38 or MB can give us an update on the rift.

don't worry CU it will definately come up at the next delegates meeting on the 28th. don mcsweeny will be there also to take questions on clearances and permits. it is my belief (this came from GFFL sec) that he was consulted on the TW clearance and he said it was ok.
EU fielded two players on permits, sam kidney i believe and a franklin.
we don't need to get the points of them though!!!!!

how did the result and game go djd?
sounds a bit like verbal agreemounts count in your comp. bit like PL cricket hey eags? Way to much grey area and unproffesional.
had an interesting clearance come through this weekend.

went up to Tumby and watched the first 3 quarters. UY xposed TB for pace, and overall a fairly uimpressive effort by TB Thought TW was very handy, but obviously not used to playing the style that TB play. If not for him,Tractor and James TB would have been in a fair degree of difficulty at half time.

Interesting that 'a franklin' played for EU on a permit. If its the one I am thinking of, I imagine his phone will be going flat out this week with an '8688' prefix..maybe keeping his options open....

I was in the league office late friday CU...what did I miss???

Yes its true! Tumby have been in deep poo! The team has spent the day flinging poo at each other as they try to work through all their numerous issues!!!

Curtiss and Coads and Caves and Crosses and Lawries and Primes were all been slinging poo at each other in what was a right stinkin' mess!

Looks like the club might split in two! Talk of a Point Boston breakaway team!!! Closer to the airport to save on petrol for all the footballers that are going to fly in each week from around the country to play! And I guess that will mean a shorter trip for a lot of the EU boys each week!! :D

And its created a huge amount of discontent in the town - I've had two showers and my wife still thinks I stink like poo and has told me to sleep in the spareroom - and I know I'm not alone in that regard!

P.S. If anyone needs some good sheep manure for their garden see Smith's Transport at Tumby - and if anyone else needs a ram or shearing shed cleaned out - find another club! One day of that a year is plenty!!
Power on!
