Agreed.
They were pretty ordinary on the weekend.

What is the word on the panthers this year ? Losing Michael Arnold Nathan brown and tim Roberts from their premiership side leaves them with a few holes to fill

They should still be around the mark.
Roberts is still playing.

Are Life fm still doing their game broadcasts this year? Love listening to big Doobs' commentary.

Also, in the indys i heard Ramco have lost one of their stars to an unlucky elbow injury. I'd say Paringa could start engraving their name on the cup now!

Have they recruited heavily again this year ? Decided to pay players in 2011 ended up with them winning the premiership even if it did upset a few locals !

I don't think it upset any locals.

Yeah pretty ordinary comment I think.
I think the locals would've been rapt to win the premiership again!

Loxton North picked up a few decent recruits. Tim Pannell, Brogan Whitelaw and Jason Dean are all handy.
It will be interesting to see how Jake Tapper from Wunkar goes. Ben Walter is also a good returning player.

In saying that though, most RFL clubs have recruited quite well this season.

Looking forward to having a look at Barmera on Saturday.
Some really good recruits and still a young side. Should be a good match.

Just want to thank everyone on here and the wider footy community for their support and words of encouragement. Worst pain at the moment is probably the thought of never playing footy again.
I've received calls and texts and Facebook msgs from many people both from mkfc and also other clubs. I really appreciate it, makes a hard situation slightly more bearable to know our footballing community is so caring and sympathetic.
Big thanks to bg for carrying my left big toe while the other blokes had my heavier parts!!
Once again thanks to all. I'll keep everyone informed when I finally get an mri

One problem is hard enough for this hospital to handle apparently. MRI been cancelled 3 times and no news on when the next one is supposed to be. Lucky I don't have a family or business to worry about

As far as I understand LIFE FM 100.7 is broadcasting the RFL twilight match tonight between Loxton North and Waikerie.
Should be good for people like me who still have to work!

Waikerie got up by 5 points. Very good match with some great skills and fight on display.

Craig Underwood was awarded the Anzac Medal and was supported well by young Joseph Haines, Tim Bevan and big Beaver Venning up forward.

For the Panthers, both Prouds played well, Ben Walter was as good as I have seen him play and would say he was there best. Brogan Whitelaw was also very prominent and has a very smart footy brain..

Now big news. About 10 minutes into the game Damian Stevens pulled a hammy. Knew straight away and walked over to the trainers. The Magpies going by their first half especially would have to premiership favourites in my eyes. Really, I don't see the Panthers beating them this season with the Magpies talls the best in the comp. Nettlebeck has been a huge inclusion for them IMO.
