A very handy get for Hahndorf, unlucky to miss the gf this year. Although would be worth like 5 or 6 points so would leave Hahndorf with not being able to really recuit anyone else wouldn't it?

Talking of points with the top 3 all being very close to maxed out this year which means they can only do limited recruiting for next year (unless recruits have left), which teams have a lot of points up the bag? Birdwood and Onkas would have a bit of space for a number of new recruits wouldn't they? Which may even up the comp even more

Is a good get for Hahndorf and can remember about 3 weeks ago that Central supporters were adamant that Jenner was staying at Centrals.

Is this actually confirmed, at last night's B&F for Central's I asked him and he said at this stage he was planning on staying at the Doggies.

recruits lose a point every year they stay at a club. so if a team has 7 recurits who are worth more then 1 point they will be able to add 7 more points to their list. i dont think anyone in the comp was at max capacity, maybe we only had 1 or 2 points left and blackwood and uri both in the gf had about 4 or 5 spare points so i wouls say 1 or 2 more good recurits could fit in if they choose so.

HAH... Told ya didn't i... Still a very good get. This is the kinda player they need. Unlike Cooper, Keisler and Barta he wont run around trying to tell the rest of the side how good he is. On the other hand Ive heard hes been in a good paddock and may need to shed a few kilo's

You can add Matt Prowse and Ben Hanna the the list the dirtbags are trying to poach off of Gum. Birdwood needs to leave its neighbours alone and look a bit further afield. If "no nuts Lamshed" and his crew had any they would stop this practice.

Josh Roche isnt ready for A grade but will be a good player in a couple of years.

Hahaha, that's funny!! Birdwood have not tried to chase Roche or Semmler!! I think you'll find they may have some friends that play for Birdwood, but everyone knows that doesn't mean the club is trying to "poach" them, some players decide to leave a club on their own.
As for Prowse, he came out and did a pre-season with Birdwood last year on his own accord and he decided to stay at Gum. This year he has mentioned that he wouldn't mind trying to play div. 1 footy but I think he'll still stay at Gum.

Hanna was also interested to play div.1 but didn't want to go back to Lobey. He may not be at either club next year.

If Gum want to recruit ferals that threaten kids if they think about leaving, then go right ahead - and have fun trying to keep your locals with a culture like that.
