How many coaches have they lost in how many years now, not to mention all the players they have "recruited" who have only lasted a season. Their oval can be comapred to the likes of.. I can't even think of anything to compare it to.. and they don't even own their own clubrooms.
I'll give them credit for the effort they have put in to try and rebuild but it's just not working..

That's a pretty brash comment. They can get out of this rut for sure but I don't think they are going about it the right way. Everyone always comments on their oval and change rooms and I really believe that is a massive part of it. The very lay out of the place is not a great way to build a healthy culture. I understand its not as ray as just fixing it all but surely paying 700 dollars per game on a player who might win you a couple of games is not money well spent. Trying to create a place that cultivates a healthy culture and a place people actually want to be is money much better spent.

I don't think thats a true indictment on Lobethal. they were agreat team for 8 out of the last 10 years and from all reports will be a big improver this year.
I on the other hand will put my hand up and say the past 10 years as a bridgewater player, has been a trying and testing time. We have'nt had the success that people have expected and although have played some good football at times haven't been able to sustain it over 4 quarters. The most dissapointing thing for me has been the introduction of "big" money into the hills. When I first started playing there were some guys getting a couple hundred bucks a game, and if a can recall correctly best player awards were 250 maybe more? You got rewarded if you were a local for playing well at that time, I know Hahndorf were doing a similar system.
I decided to retire this year when after talking to several people around the club that a couple of players would be getting paid 600 a game. I couldn't bring myself to play with guys for the guernsey and for the love of the club when big cash like that is getting thrown around. That is some peoples wages for the week!
I hear that they will be paying more players next year but have managed to hang on to eckermann, maclean devries and fosdike.
I'm not happy with the current situation that Bridgewater are in but when coaches get appointed with out the committe knowing about it, by a couple of blokes that think they have carte blanche over the footy club it's a dissapointing time for all. they need a complete restrcuturing, to go back to div2 and actually win some footy games and hopefully grow from there. Country division really is aquite a good comp and not the step down that people perceive it to be.
Well said Tooting, that's why I had to leave at the end of last year for the exact reason you decided to hang up the boots. Silky Skills you sound like the biggest clown on the forum after all crap that's been comming out of your mouth about Hahndorf this year you should pull the pin on this forum. As for the weekend go you Tigers.

80g, your kidding yourself old son. try half, if that. and yeah they are pretty disappointed...hopefully it fuels the rage for next year. as to the older players, i have no idea of their movements, in the coming months i'm sure we'll learn more

WOW htfu you are one angry little ant. I think everyone knows who Lynch is and you don't need to be a brain surgeon to know that he is a joke of a coach. Everyone is entitled to an opinion so just go and have a couple of chill pills before your blood pressure get's to high and your head explodes.
no not angry just sick of reading rubbish that you write about bridgewater! mate get over it and leave the club alone! lynch is coaching bridgewater this year and i gues we will wait and c how he goes! my moneys on him making a huge differance around the club alright we may not make finals we might make finals either way the club is trying hard to turn around its performances and it has the right ppl around to do that!
