With losing Ryan Bennett one would think Renmark will need more than an older ex-AFL/SANFL player, but he will be no doubt an asset and be able to teach the younger players.

Bennett's definitely a big loss.
They came a long way at the end of last year though.

Yeah they improved but they also have to cover the loss of Wakefield brothers and Dempsey if my mail is correct.

I reckon one of the Wakefield's might end up staying. Hopefully the good one.
Might also be another premiership player coming back.

Robert price to return to Barmera for 2012, needs 16 games to reach 300, I would think it will take him 2 years to get there!!! Apparently he is hoping to get there this year!!

Good Luck Robert!!!

Have heard of rumours Ramco have recruiting a forward who played in the A grade grand final last year. One would think it would have to be a Waikerie player

Cameron Hawke.

And the Travis Wilson thing is because they couldn't upload the clearance to footyweb last year and had to wait until Feb 1 this year.

We're looking pretty similar to last year. Lost a couple of blokes to Renmark, but picked up a couple from there too.

I hear Ramco and Cobby will be the big improvers.

Lippis and Gregory to Loxton North?

That's the word.
Lippy's not doing any press for this move, I hear.

Also, anyone see that photo on page 7 of last Thursday's Riverland Weekly?

Would Lippis make Loxton North's A Grade side based on what they had last year - although I understand they have lost a few from that side??

I understand Lippis was going to Pinnaroo with a few others including Chris Hughes from Barmera. The week before training started there was a few words spoken at the Vines between the two and now I believe he is off to Loxton North.

Yeah heard about Ramco - aparently picked up a bloke that played for Morgan against us in the Mid Mauuray - not a bad player and aparently has got him self very fit. He is also bringing guys with him from Nuri i was told.
Cobby i can see improving - they were fairly young last year from memory with some talented players, would imagine there would be a bit of improvement from them. Throw in a few new players and they should be decent.
That will hurt Lyrup, but im guessing they will still have plenty of talent left!
