Willunga start pre season 25th January. 3 weeks to the day and BJs got some work to do!!!

Congrats to WoW and his newborn, came out with hair halfway down his back which brought a smile to his face :D

Looking forward to a tight season this year. From word im hearing around the traps (Which is always positive this time of year) most if not all teams will improve their lists.

Billy Neely to Yankalilla is probably the biggest name I've heard joining the GSFL so far. If true Yanks Midfield will be the best in the comp with Lewis, Neely, Pratt and Hunt.

Good to be back, hope all had a safe xmas and new year period and cant wait for the games to begin!!

My source informs me Goolwa have offered a former SAAFL Div 1 & South reserves player $600 a game to come out of retirement.
He'll need to do a lot of work as he hasn't played for a while and marriage has done him well and not sure he's worth that sort of money even when in his prime.

Can anyone confirm if the leagues 2nd best player Marcus Burdett will be a definate starter at Compass this year? Sources over the border are very confident of securing his services. :?:

His hometown of Hopetoun or Horsham Saints perhaps?

Big money in both the Wimmera and (Vic) Mallee leagues, plus his family still lives in Horsham.

Yep hes heading back each week to play footy at his home club. He told me that his home club could be merging in 2011 so he wanted to play for them in there final season.

You might want to get him to stop telling people "porkies" then because that's come from him, not me.

Compass have also lost a group of local boys to Meadows. No big names that I'm aware of but every single point player counts!
