hey there footy mad. jamahl and raph have both been having good seasons. jamahl has been playing up forward a fair bit and has 24 goals so far. has also been having a run on the ball. raph also playing up forward mostly and has 19 goals. had a couple of games playing on the back flank but was up forward against waikerie last game. jamahl kicked 3 goals in last quarter against waikerie and helped win it. hope that gives you some idea.

Riverland players did well at country champs from all reports.
Peter Safralidis (Berri), Chris Gibson (Waikerie), Damien Stevens (Waikerie), Michael Arnold (Loxton North) and Leigh Kruger (Loxton) were the standouts.
MMB unlucky to finish 5th.
Won two out of three games.
Hardly seems fair that a team that won just one match finished runner-up.....

G'day Barry... had a chin wag with Buckers on Sat. as he was in town to watch older much older looking EX (supercoach) steer the Thunderers to another comfortable victory... Although we may have missed print this week up in your neck of the woods there were many chuckles heard around Hills grounds on Saturday as the incident from last weekend got press in our budget. Headline "Cars need Petrol"...

Probably a fitting grab there, simple headline - simple individual...

Trained with Norm in the Northern cities squad.
He’s a native, which explains his name a bit.
Quick across the ground, quite agile despite his rotund appearance, but didn’t get selected in the side.
Got a great set of paws on him.
Bit of a sucker for lettuce leaves and carrot sticks.

Interesting you'd ask about those blokes FM....

Someone's covered the Liddle boys - class acts. I've played with them both - amazing cats.

As for Sammy, he's playing in the much tougher RFL comp this year (Indys last year) and I don't see his name in the best as much. Playing on a wing - I think - but there are some B-M people here who could give you more of an idea.

Cheers Hazed - I actually have a full unopened carton of the stuff. ;)

I also have a full bottle of one of those wide mouth stack bottles which were made briefly. Featured a label with Centrals colours over the Eagles, like the West End chimney.

PS: expected a phone message from you, on behalf of someone else, about a certain AFL result on the weekend...;)

Bugger - can you take it anyway? It's West End, which would explain why I can't even give it away to a Central supporter.

GO YOU CATTERS! I expected nothing less. :) 10 in a row now, wonder when they'll fall apart and break their supporters' hearts - it's got to be soon. Our 2-year-old actually requested "We are Geelong" (his words) as his bedtime song last night. Like father, like son.

Looks like a couple of decent independents games this week
Wunkar v Paringa looked like it was pretty close after the first quarter, good win by M-K over East Murray. Coach Voigt might take over full fwd at this rate... :) Heard there was a bit of a scuffle, any cause for it?
Brown's Well 244 point loss to Cobby - is there a record of the biggest margins? Bit of a bugger for M-K, knocking it down to second through percentage.
How long til the Bombers fold?

Right, that's enough questions for now.
How long til the Bombers fold?
Not an advisable question that one...

Very proud club. They'll continue to fight on.
Mick Durdin is doing good things out there - results this year won't show it and there's a long way to go for them, but they'll start building up again.
Moorook were like this late in the 90s. Things turn around.

As for the blue at Moorook - I ain't sayin' nothin'. Very disappointing act by the person involved. People have long memories though.

Richard is Pastie isn't he? He's the eldest one?
Put a bit of weight on - hasn't played in the two games against us this season. Not sure if he's played at all.
The Parsons boys you've been seeing in the besties are his younger, very hard at it brothers. They love a scrap.
I'd pretty much describe them as hard, but fair. Although at times they test the boundaries.
