Jingles - Simmons coached the bays in 05 but was sacked 9 months into a 2 year contract amidst rumours of a player revolt. The word coming out of the SFC is that they are looking to him to inject some discipline and toughness. I too have heard Thomas mentioned and since he's virtually a local with family connections in Strath it may not be as silly as it sounds. Interesting times for the club....

Grape Ape after speaking to Matt Thomas a day or so ago he told me he was staying on at the Demons.

The lure of training down the road from work and probably extra $$ might have gotten the better of him and he may be looking for new challenges in a new environment.

My info is a few weeks old BJ and not first hand. Might be a bit of wishful thinking on my part.

LF i certainly do as does the whole side and he is as highly rated off the field as he is on it.
This season especially more so than others with Toddy having a few injuries and other commitments Matty had to ruck a lot more and was our B & F Winner.

Ive already made the calls to make sure the big fella stays on board for next season!

Informal chat to Banaraby beacuse he has a holiday house in Goolwa. We are working hard to sign players. At this stage I can only say that Leigh Hirst, Michael Kilsby and Max McCradle will be returning along with Shane Fox, Hayden McKinlay and Ash Beaton from long term injuries. Looks like we will lose Matt Doyle and Brett McKinlay to work committments.

Well Big Micky got rained out had to ducked into Radsy to make sure alls well...and it is.The burgers are great the beer is fruitful and ive now got 3 chins(working on a fourth).
Big rumour going around is that Thomas has signed a lucrative 3 year deal ALL under the table to stay at Willunga.Figures that have been mentioned are any where between $40 - $60 a win plus bonuses of free $5 schnitzels every 3rd Thursday of a every 2nd leap year. Also he has been offered free "Airley's" ever so often,so if Strath can come up with a better deal than that...here comes Micky go you roosters!

Has anyone heard what is going on out at the vale? Your neighbours with them BJ have you been hearing anything over the fence?

I heard the vale are chasing a few Reynella boys... not sure if they've had any success though.

Their would be a very good chance victor would be looking at south boys with sauces connections, they will have to recruit well as they have already lost two young locals that were in their top 5 or so last season!

The Bays have lost Princi and Baylis so far with the whispers of Jared Poulton now dead and buried with him agreeing to play for the CMS Crows in the YPFL purely due to the surfing opportunities, French will follow the big man or play at Sturt but is still uncommitted.

Has anyone got the low down or correct news on the Creeks ins and outs?
Dane Rolfe has alerady resigned with Old Iggies in the SAAFL for 2008 and will not be renegging on it.
