You cant just chuck in a whole bunch of kids who havent even played reserves footy yet and expect them to hold their own, whilst their stronger, fitter, better more experienced teammates play reserves footy.

What are you talking about Macca19....Hall has been playing and playing well in the ressies! And Harder has shown in the trial that he is a good enough talent to skip ressies footy given our current list. And he is super strong for his age. these so strong, fit and better footballers you talk of have done nothing for us in the last few years, we mose well, and should've been, blooding more youngsters. and on the fitness thing, that comment shows you know very little about these players.
Johncock is now superfit and would be an asset as we have a lack of big, strong key position forwards. I don't believe he was given the right opportunities last time he was here. why would you pass Macca19?ok heater31 who apparently knows so much about footy and in particular sanfl and port and also a lot of rebuilding phases.....can i put this simple question to you....how have port gone the last few years and why is this? istead of finishing 6 or 7th every year, it wouldn't hurt if we were the whipping boys as you put it for a couple years while we start a proper rebuilding process and start blooding a lot of young talented players who could be the future stars of our club! 500 boats chasing big fish over one long weekend puts a fair bit of pressure on the fishery, especially when you consider most of the target fish are big females. Good money spinner for the town, but hardly an ecologically sustainable style of competition. Maybe they need to take a leaf out of eastern states comps (ie C&R, live wells etc.)
Small fish this year too ... 13.88 won it with 10kg fish making the top 10.
