Which story:
1.the one about Centrex Metals stating Esperance's 'best practice' is an example for of how Pt Lincoln can export minerals pollution free. The following link would suggest this is not the case: http://portal.environment.wa.gov.au/pls ... ESULTS.PDF
OR
2. The problems with the Ravendale complex- that surely wasn't unexpected?

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

the whyalla snaper comp is on again this long weekend. the weather was a little poor today but it should fine up over the rest of the weekend. 11.80kg is the biggest fish so far and its by a local angler.
any thoughts on the event good or bad?

You cant just chuck in a whole bunch of kids who havent even played reserves footy yet and expect them to hold their own, whilst their stronger, fitter, better more experienced teammates play reserves footy.

As for Johncock....pass thanks.
i never said Harder would be the answer to anything i simply stated he could replace Dolling whilst he is out injured. On that he seems to be recovering well and should resume full training shortly.

What are you talking about Macca19....Hall has been playing and playing well in the ressies! And Harder has shown in the trial that he is a good enough talent to skip ressies footy given our current list. And he is super strong for his age. these so strong, fit and better footballers you talk of have done nothing for us in the last few years, we mose well, and should've been, blooding more youngsters. and on the fitness thing, that comment shows you know very little about these players.

Johncock is now superfit and would be an asset as we have a lack of big, strong key position forwards. I don't believe he was given the right opportunities last time he was here. why would you pass Macca19?

heater31 wrote:yeah chuck in a heap of kids leo and Port will be bigger whipping boys than Westies have been for the last 3 years

I have come to the conlusion that Leo knows nothing about football and is only pumping up the tyres of his mates.
ok heater31 who apparently knows so much about footy and in particular sanfl and port and also a lot of rebuilding phases.....can i put this simple question to you....how have port gone the last few years and why is this? istead of finishing 6 or 7th every year, it wouldn't hurt if we were the whipping boys as you put it for a couple years while we start a proper rebuilding process and start blooding a lot of young talented players who could be the future stars of our club! Or as you obviously want it just continue on how we are currently going and nothing changes and finish 6th or 7th again.........but don't worry at least we won't be whipping boys though! I can just tell you know so much about footy with your broad minded and long term vision of the PAFC maybe you should take on the CEO role?
here give this a whipping :finga:

Well said :supz:

500 boats chasing big fish over one long weekend puts a fair bit of pressure on the fishery, especially when you consider most of the target fish are big females. Good money spinner for the town, but hardly an ecologically sustainable style of competition. Maybe they need to take a leaf out of eastern states comps (ie C&R, live wells etc.)

Small fish this year too ... 13.88 won it with 10kg fish making the top 10.

Late night Leo... you will get nil respect from wcp until you have a face... Your comments seem way out of leftfield and I agree with heater that you are probably just a mate of these lads that you claim will resurect the PAFC....

13.88kg is still 30pound. one weekend of fishing would still have to be better than the over fishing of the tuna schools like you have down lincoln way

ill informed comment best on hill. as I am involved in the industry I know whats going on. recreational fishers cause twice as much damage to fish stocks and the environment than us.
