The GSFL has a very good reputation as being a quality league and with Willunga being so domminant and the Creeks domminating minor rounds i think other sides in the comp could be underated a little bit.

By the way FM that pm had nothing in it?

Kappars name the players who you consider to have performed well on big stages from the Bays? It seems that one minute you are stating the list is no good but as your argument changes so does your opinion? Its confusing and you have poor BJ hiding under his desk rocking back and forth?

Whoever said that "The Bays didn't play one single good game this year", they did knock off Willunga at Willunga, not too many clubs have done that in the last 5 or 6 years.

I think you'll find Victor to be a big improver in '08, and Burdett has confirmed he is staying on up at Compass.

Strath seems to be the side that could improve to compete for a flag in the coming years, they are a strong club and seem to have a bit of respect around the traps. Has anyone got any info on what is going on up there...? They need a new coach, and could do with a couple of new players if they are to be good enough next year...

Ah ok, so he didn't finish the year off last year at Strath? Were their issues happening there?

Nah, finished out the year (got pumped bt Willunga in the Prelim), but had already said he wasn't going on. Don't think there was anything in it, and not sure if they have replaced him yet?

Wow must be some big recruiting going on down Saints way for next year for them to move that far up the ladder, didn't they finish bottom in 07?

I thought Yank finished bottom? Wouldn't have been much between them no doubt though, whichever way it was.

Big call I agree, considering they just missed out on the Wilson boys from Goody Saints. Who are they targeting now?

Saints finished bottom by about 1%. I have put them 6th because I am a bit biased but still didnt want to go over the top. Sorry to the pongy fans. From 5th to wooden spoon is harsh but someone had to be there. Has anyone heard about Ryan Lewis. Apparently he is playing in Darwin and going very well!!!

Strath have appointed former Glenelg coach Peter Simmons. Simmons is already meeting with potential recruits.

Good mail GA, any idea of who the potential recruits are?

When did Peter Simmons coach the Bays?

Thats why I have them second for the premiership! This may sound ridiculous, but Matt Thomas of the Willunga fame has been mentioned in regards to Strath because apparently his old man and him own a business there.

That does sound ridiculous LF! I think Thomas won the B&F at Willunga, and by all reports has a huge 'colt like' following at that club.

Would be a huge inclusion for Strath, or any club for that matter so they wouldn't be doing their job if they didn't try to nab him...

So the by the sounds of thing the vale are not doing to much at all at the moment, one would think being so close to the metro area they would be able to grab a few players from near by leagues. Has anyone heard what is going on out at the vale? Your neighbours with them BJ have you been hearing anything over the fence?
