Can't wait to see which source got it right, or if they are both FOS. :D

I think the SANFL don't want to be seen as racists, so they won't touch the issue. Therefore Bostons will not be going to MP Oval this weekend to make a point.....

The way we palyed on Saturday it was embarresing to be a tiger supporter. I hope we make a statement and refuse to play at mallee park oval.

I spoke with Richard Horgan after the game and he said they are certainties to win the flag

Alright just to clear everything up about the round 10 clash!

Boston sent a letter to the PLFL. The letter requested that we swap the round 10 venue with round 15's as the club refuses to play at Mallee Park until the SANFL undergoes a full enquiry into the incident. The letter also requested that we would only play against Mallee Park this weekend if the games was video taped for security reason, adequate security that have the power to enter the playing ground if a serious fight takes place. Also if the SANFL doesn’t go though with the purposed enquiry we will then forfeit our match on the 21st of August. Mallee Park officials have also requested to meet with Boston officials to discuss some ‘things’ sometime this week. Not sure what could possibly come out of it personally.

Hope this clears it up for everyone.

At first I assumed Eski had written this until I saw a spelling error... :D

Apart from calling Pecker Park "UFC Oval", I have tried not to tackle this topic since I ceased working for the PLFL, but I'm just about ready to have a fair old crack, and I've underlined what I'm going to speak about this time.

SANFL Investigation: The purpose of the end of June meeting was to inform the clubs of what the SANFL had come up with, which was the recommendation to speak to FWFL about set penalties for tribunals, and not a lot more.

The SANFL (Like WFC and LSFC) endorsed the actions of PLFL.

Video taping the games: If Bostons want the game video taped, then Bostons will have to shell out the coin. FWIW, Dave Redman has been floating around filming the under 15's, so ask him to do the day.

Security that can enter the playing field: FOR F!CKS SAKE! If any person in power has lingering doubts that a "serious fight could break out" then you are nothing but an A Grade tosser if you let your team out there.

BFC/MP Meeting: Only thing to come out of it is that both sides will want to play a game, Bostons want it at Poole, Mallee don't want to change. Stalemate, but in that case MP win, because that's their allocated Home Game, so it falls back on Bostons.

MARBLEPARK'S SOLUTION: Pick 21 blokes who aren't afraid to cop a couple of hits, go out there, and smash the buggers on the scoreboard.

If you can't bring yourself to do that, then p!ss off now.

Embarassed to be a Tiger supporter is a bit harsh, dissapointed would be more appropriate.

To be honest whilst not scoring in the second term and at half time four goal down it wasn't beyond us to stay with Redlegs and mount some sort of challenge in the second half. However a 5 goal blitz in 5 minutes by Waybacks showed the quality of players WFC have and we were simply outclassed.

The dissappointing factor was after the 5 minute blitz the body language of our players changed and the heads dropped. Marti would have felt like doin a Blighty and leaving the oval for sure, suddenly no numbers at ball, no second efforts and many un manned opponents allowed Waybacks to dominate and give us a thrashin that brought back memories from years ago. :(

Whilst we need to make statement, i think we need change like a safety net for the League & Tribunal as in set penalties (pretty simple) when finding a player guilty to take away the burden of deciding penalties and any repercussions. It's easy to critisize the representatives at present but if we have set guide lines for them to follow it would avoid the situation we now have.

The statement BFC need to make is win a god damn game.
