I see Mick Davey is running around for the Tigers again in 2008. Had more farewells than Johhny Farnham :) Is this the year of the Tiger?

It seems Balak play North Clare every year. Always a good hit out with them.

Balak played Sth Clare last year, tend to alternate with NEFL teams for our 2nd trial.

Went to trial last night, 6 qtr game, both side missing key players, pretty even with perhaps Nth Clare a couple of goals up before ressies players game on after 3rd period.

Walker, Catford, Jonno Evans and Levi best for the Peckers.

I was also there and the above statement is quite misleading from my perspective. Balaklava did not kick a goal until the 3rd quarter, and probably only had 3 on the board by the end of it. Meanwhile North Clare were quite impressive, with 5 key players to come in, and by the time the primary squads finished up were about 10 goals in front.

Looked good last night, strong body over the ball, kicked a couple of goals running thru Half forward. Sat behind ruckman in the centre and got first use of the ball on several occassions.
