I really don't get why people call umpires cheats.

I hope that there's a hell of alot more to it than the umps being called cheats
If that's the case they should have some really big glasses of HTFU!
No-one should be threatened by physical violence etc but when signing up to become an umpire I think they should have a good understanding of the "sticks and stones" concept.

Depends who's saying it.

if it was as rumoured an official of a club then he should be reported and visit the tribunal and cop the penalty, his club should be fined as well

Little bit of niggle between Lyrup and BSR.
A few sneaky punches here and there, but nothing too serious.
Was a good game to watch too.

I was told that at Ramco there were 7 yellow cards and 2 or three red cards.

Not as much fun if you're out injured :)

Was good to watch though - a few definite momentum changes and a little niggle - although was funny to watch the main protagonist having a whinge to the umps at half time. With his obvious skill and speed I'd think he should keep his mind on the game - he would have cut us up.

Yeah watching him was quite interesting.
Had his moments during the day, but just seemed like an angry man on a mission to hurt someone.
Definitely did some good things though when the game was on the line in the third and fourth quarters.

From early in the third when we got out to a goal or two lead I figured to win we had to shut down him and Marr.
Then he intercepted that ball in defense had a couple bounced down the clubrooms wing and set up a walk in goal .... I thought it ignited them.

He's too good when he's playing the ball - but then as soon as he gets manned he sooks. (at least one small/minor head butt and a few other pointless things)

Agreed. That run was scintillating. Read the play beautifully and noone was going to catch him once he took off.

Very poor effort from Loxton on the weekend to have not one player come up to the club after the game for a beer. should be compulsory and showed piss poor sportsmanship on their part.
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.
