BD - Good to see other Verdun Heights contributors to this thread.

I hope they don't play any finals there. The Devils Super B's played a prelim there last year (against Handorf) which wasn't ideal.

Bring on the bigger grounds like Loby (Hopefully GF), Onkas and the Cabbage patch (Both depending on their respective club's results).

Bugger it, even better, lets play at AAMI. HFL is better to watch than AFL, and would attract more supporters than the SANFL!!!!

Yes fair call but at the same time those players do have 3 years or so on them. And without the support of the experienced players this year they wouldn't be playing as good. I have played against all of them in juniors aswell so do know a bit about them... Just trying to support whoever it was in saying that investing the juniors and youth can only be good in years to come.

Anyways... i drove past and saw blacky only up by 5 goals at halftime... is this correct? fair second half in the end if thats the case

Forecast for rain on weekend. Makes the decision to play game at Barker one of the worst ever. That thing holds water better most swimming pools. So who's the rain favour this week? B grade i guess

i agree...the bigger grounds need to be used more but surely hahndorf would be used before mt barker, one of the worst grounds in the league with crap viewing areas etc

Interesting to see Toreens Valley beating Meadows quite convincingly
I thought Meadows have have been a bit too strong.
Former Mail Medallist (and Port Pirie Lion!) Scott Peryman with a big game for the TV side apparently.

i agree mt barker oval is crap. muddy and windy terrible viewing especially if rain is forecast. if the hfl wasnt based in mt barker thered be no chance of them hosting a final. on another note when is the mail medal count? is that this week? who are peoples predictions in all grades and divisions? i expect tresinski of lofty to poll well also tipping shee of onkas and king of loby to be up there. b grade is always tough to tell as any1 polling too many should be up in the 1's. maybe that ironbank bloke people were complaining about playing 2's might b a chance. if not expect bahnert of barker to poll highly. class b grader. 17s i suggest any1 from blackwood might be close altho they may steal votes. maybe pope. if not loftys maslin is a class above. i sleep in too much to get out to 14s so have no idea. any thoughts on country division?

14s - the whole mount barker team...nah maybe trent male, angus frazer, brodie fleet, adam shearwood...and then any number of players from barker

Staten Evans woould be a chance for the Bgrade medal.
Why wouldn't they play all the finals at Lobethal. Who cares if they play more than one final there.

inside 50 would have to be a devils man...as good a player as trigger is i dont think he can win the mail because of how many good players are around him, white wood, wait, gordon, cutting, stapleton, mehta, the list goes on, he may be the best player in the league but i dont reckon he can win it.
Dunno about rob o'gorman, didnt he get suspended the other week??

Rob O is out of contention, but the league should give him the Mail in both grades for snotting the Loby Sniper! I rekon even the snipers own mum would hate him!

I rekon King will win the A Grade Mail - he's a gun.
B Grade should be Sodomka. I rekon he'd get a game in our A Grade!!!
I hope Shane Maslin wins the U17 medal, but there are quality players at a number of clubs, so anyone could win it.

O'Gorman wont win, he's been playing in the A's for a few rounds and he's been suspended (not sure if that matters with the medal count).

O'gorman was suspended the other week for striking Lobethals well known "Sniper" (in my opinion getting him back for what he did to Penny and Broadbridge). I agree with the Bobby i cant see trzinknskizikski 2000, or how ever you spell it winning the medal, awesome player, one of the best hills players ive seen, but to many players pinching votes off each other, i will go for Pucker this year. Does anyone know how many games david murphy has played, surely if he has played 10 he would be a chance, always seems to poll votes no matter what the score, a real umpire favourite.

Trigger, King, Stansborough, Loffler...could be anyone's. definitely a huge effort, with quite a few consistent, quality players floating around.
Could Dawe be a chance in Country? Sorry, not too savvied up.
Any word on officially where the senior games are this weekend and what days?
