would love to see strath knock off mclarens in the B Grade, still amazes me how the b grade can be quality most years and their A grade garbage every year (even though they finished above the bays this year, bays were garbage this year). Would love to see strath knock off willunga in the A grade also and cause an upset, although a loss may just make willunga an ever better squad next year.

how many premierships you guys won in the last 9 years since we have been in the comp? oh thats right none

Fair chance WOW is referring to his coaching partner Sam Mahoney who is on the hunt for a new job

last time i spoke to him he said he wasnt that interested in coaching this year but he may have changed his mind

I think Sam just wants to play footy next year, coaching to be put on the back burner for the minute but never say never...

Keep fishing boys on the Bay job, his resume is in the post as we speak.... Would be able to bring quality players/people with him.

You are on the money Shoey and you could gaurantee Richards would bring some quality players (Trev Rigney for starters) but would Encounter Bay have that type of money?

Would the Bays have paid out much this year? I don't think they had that many major recruits in their side so they could probably afford to spend a bit this year.

How many points would EB have for next year? Thats nearly as relevant as $'s these days. They would probably be looking at getting a few blokes who had played there in the past who might be worth minimum points - White, Jagadonik, Bayliss etc etc, maybe even Modra.

Heard on the grapevine that he was very interested. Interesting choice of Mitton over Richards as he would have one of the most impressive coaching records in S.A. !!

hot off the press of my lunch break
Ellis been told he is not required next year at victor as a coach (he got the ass) Simmo to meet them next week to discuss deal. So as predicted Simmo returns home, pitty all his gun recruits this year will be 3 points if they were to go with him.

Not sure if Tim Richards would want to coach against one of his former sons and still good mate, Zac Ewer. That's unless Zac has decided to leave the Maggies for the Bays next season?!?!

if that is true about luke ellis getting the arse as coach at victor then wot a f##n joke that club is considering they persisted with saucey for even longer.the games i seen i thought luke did a very good job, listening to teamwork all year he said luke was doing a good job, perhaps the hierachy at victor need to have a look at the cattle before giving the coach the arse after 1 season.yes i know its tough being a player/coach but 1 season give me a break.

to luke ellis come to morphett vale next season mate obviously you wont be able to coach but as a player id have him in my team any day of the week, reminds me so much of shane fishlock the way he goes about his business.

back to victor,so if all this is true surely both ellis brothers will be gone along with joras maybe a couple more yet they will be worse off than than wot they were thats for sure.id like to hear if teamwork has a comment on all this.

Could Rigney and Jagodnik go to the Maggies to play with Ewer next season?? All real good mates.

I'm sure if Rigney and Jagodnik joined the Maggies, Ewer wouldn't consider leaving them.

Princi to coach Bays next season!! Rumour has it Zac hasnt yet signed with goolwa for the 2010 season? Can anyone confirm? i'm sure the maggies would be doing everything in there powers to get that done very soon, he always seems brings good players with him where ever he plays. IMO Jagodnik and rigney would def follow Zac before heading to Encounter Bay. I hear Tim Richards is looking at coaching again and getting all the jervois boys together but couldnt see him or $am Mahoney wanting the bays job.

MV don't pay players do they, so presumably you'd have no hope of getting him.
