Yep, copped a couple of remarks to that tune Saturday.

It doesn't really bother me though, water off a ducks back. Many people have worked very hard to secure the club an income stream that provides funds to ensure a 'flag chance' squad takes the field every year. If any club had the same funds available they would do the same thing.

I'm glad that I support a club that has an excellent administration with the business savvy to keep the club in such a strong position every year. Thanks to them the premiership window at Langhorne Creek is always open, what other club can say that?

:D

Well said Ginger!! All clubs would do the same, they spend want they can afford and Creeks have put themselves in a good position to afford players like Moore and Feast.

It would be safe to say that $5 admission fee is worth it to see Moore and Feast at their best, this generates money back to the club by getting people through the gates. Admission plus a few drinks and something to eat $20, times that by 50 people that may not be at the game if they were getting beaten each week, that's a $1000, probably covers Moore and half Feasts payments. Smart clubs look at it this way.

Have just read on the Hills Country forum that Mitchell is likely to be heading from enc Bay to Mt Barker (i think). Cuzzy or Signman can you shed any light on this? Any favourites for the position at the Bays next year?

LATEST TAB BETTING
Encounter Bay A-Grade 2010
Darren Mansell - 500 to 1.
Shane Mitchell - 500 to 1.
Mark Ruccutio - 50 to 1.
Darren Hart - 40 to 1.
Michael Symonds - 15 to 1
Clive Waterhouse - 10 to 1.
Damien Garrett - 9 to 1.
Leigh Pope - 8 to 1.
Tony Modra - 7 to 1.
Lindsey Bassani 6 to 1.
Dale Ellis 5 to 1.
Todd Butler - 7 to 2.
Ryan Bennett - 3 to 1.
Ben Princi - 5 to 2.

Odds will vary over the summer & new runners will be added to the field at a later date!

I think Scotty Baggs may have been on the phone to someone not on this list....

Agreed A Mum.

The A grade is a tough one to pick. As much as Strath have taken their game to another level over the past few weeks, I still think Willunga has the firepower to get over the line, both in the midfield and up forward.

McLaren in the B's (Home ground advantage will be vital in a GF)
Strath to give Willunga a huge shake in the A's, maybe even hang on for a victory.

U/14's Goolwa/ Pt Elliot- Willunga got the jump on them early in the semi but the Magpies settled after half time and looked the better side. Gained a bit more finals experience last week and will get over the line in a close 1.

U/17's Myponga/ Sellicks- 50/50 game, fingers crossed the mudlarks can get chocolates.

B's Strath- Will be too quick for an older vale side on a clear day. Strath younger players in Lee and Batten will run them off there legs.

A's Willunga- Just seem to find another gear when it really matters, Strath will battle hard but will be no match.

go strath!!!
would love to see strath knock off mclarens in the B Grade, still amazes me how the b grade can be quality most years and their A grade garbage every year (even though they finished above the bays this year, bays were garbage this year). Would love to see strath knock off willunga in the A grade also and cause an upset, although a loss may just make willunga an ever better squad next year.

Not even worth considering Jimmy, closer to home is a wise choice.

WOW was saying the person that Scott Baggs has rang has never previously been invlolved at E Bay. Not saying Moller was not there before.
Fair chance WOW is referring to his coaching partner Sam Mahoney who is on the hunt for a new job
