On a Port Adelaide (Magpies) site there a photo that looks like Tyson Waite training. Another possible loss for Imps..

He is definately training with Port Magpies.
He's having another crack since the departure of Greg Phillips.
I think Imps have definately lost him.

I wonder if Imps voted for the points system for next year. With their likely/possible losses for next year, they may not be able to replace them as well as they would like..

If things dont work out at Port, doesnt that mean Tyson will be worth zero points if he were to come back to Imps?

I would say it does as long as he played enough games to quality last year (which i think is 3 games...i think Waite would have played about 6 or 7 last year??). I think Mypo tried to qualify Joe Pedlar last year to leave open the option that he'd be on minimum points for 08 if they could recruit him.

Word is he'll get more opportunities this year at Port.
I can't understand him blaming Greg Phillips for limited opportunities,he won the B grade best & fairest under him.
Wait should have a chat with Ginever & selectors,if he thinks he was hard done by.
Their the men that have the say,in regards 2 who plays & who doesn't.
I've heard he will stick it out there,so bad luck Imps.

You are joking aren't you Navy??? Have a look through the last 10 pages and you will see that Tim has moved onto Sturt under 19's as an assistant, so Sam has taken over the reigns in 2008.

Any truth that Seyers only signed with Peake after the president of Imps rang him and abused him for considering leaving and that was the icing on the cake??

Breaking News:
I've heard that Ryan Madden is going to leave WFC, he's not happy with losing the no. 4 and being stripped of the nickname Rhino... Likely to move to Mannum with his BFF Gould, or possibly Renmark. BIG LOSS FOR THE CATS!

Wasn't he thinking of retiring, so surely it wouldn't come down to money, maybe he just wants to maintain his fitness levels and also simply misses the mateship of it all.

You never know i suppose. It could have been an innocent run with some mates. Just like Mahoney's meetings with footy players are innocent chats about life

I'm sure if he was offered a bit of a hefty pay rise he would reconsider retiring. I think hes only in late 20's, if the money is good enough why wouldn't he consider it. The thing with this points system is that clubs cant really afford to lose too many zero pointers because they're restricted on how many new players they can recruit so it would be worthwhile to offer a bit more to existing players if it means they can retain them.
